Blueeyedgirl - I actually watched that show last night on BBC 1 about eating better for cheaper and was pretty turned by the sausage things that I saw _pale_

They've advanced to McDonalds now for lunch.

My meatballs were lovely and very filling.

Think it will be salad and some fruit for tea feeling quite stuffed now.

I'm meeting a friend for breakfast in the morning but I can get grilled bacon, poached egg, beans and mushrooms and will be happy enough with that

Ginvzt are you still with us?

Shala well done on your certificate! I hate that feeling, the last couple of times I've had a Chinese I've felt totally rubbish. I'm sticking with Indian from here on in!:rotfl:

Work people are scoffing and making sausage sandwiches, I sit beside the kitchen and the smell is killing me but I am being strong I need another loss this week, get this thing rolling to target and get rid of this Christmas gain.

I like your thinking... I love a nice biryani

Ignore them sausage sandwiches they're vile _pale_ you stick to your lovely food and jeez how unhealthy are your workmates!! Sausage sandwiches AND McDonalds!!

very disapointed, shala can you please put me down for -8 lb. i know it is okay but i was down for 10lb. never mind. i would like 7lb for feb. hope everone is well

yellowbird - bit confused - we haven't finished the challenge yet and you haven't been posting your weights up weekly so I took you off the chart. i'll add you back on...

We do an 8 week challenge and you gave me 10lb target... does this mean your target is now 17lb for Jan/Feb 8 weeks..

Also is your loss of 8lbs for the 4 weeks of Jan?

I don't mind you posting your weight loss at the end of the challenge so if you want to do that can you let me know so I can leave you on the chart.. thanks :D

I swapped my lunch out for cheesy chips and a wholemeal roll instead of pizza toasts - I forgot I always burn toast so I didn't even attempt it :rotfl: OH has to make it for me..

Just got home to my Good Food mag and Sainsburys mag so off to make a cuppa and hav a good read of lovely foods...

Keep up this positivity Lantanna. Good idea to think ahead and plan what you are going to have with friend tomorrow. Hope its good and tasty.

We are having pork steak for tea with veggies and some boiled potatoes. Bought some of the fruitopolis yoghurts from Sainsbobs today as they were on offer - £1.50 for 4. DH likes the Liberte yoghurts (Asda £1 for 4) but I don't like the smell of them especially the blueberry - it makes me feel quite nauseous. I am not really a fan of any low fat yoghurts but I quite happily have the natural ff one in the overnight oats or sweetened and added vanilla essence over strawberries.

Also bought some of the 5% fat minced beef and 4% turkey mince which will come in handy for meals through the week. Mince is so versatile. Could murder for a nice plate of mince and dumplings right now but we won't go down that road. :D

Maman what fruits are now super foods please.:D:D

Hope you sorted that out wiz. It's all the things from before but not grapes, pineapple, banana, blueberries, kiwis and cherries and mango and few more obscure things (Sharon fruit, custard apples??). Some of these were never S or SS foods anyway but they were Superfree. The 'new' EE is meant to one third Speed food so none of the above. They're all just free food now.

I'm amazed you've gone off Chinese! I think we get used to eating healthy food and then other things don't taste as nice s they used to.

I saw that too, looked disgusting. The nutritionist said we're better off without too much processed food anyway. I probably have about 4 sausages a month so I'll live with that. I will be trying the SW ones though just to compare with the 1 syn ones I have now.

I was pretty amazed at the quality of the food that family seemed to be eating anyway. And they called him a foodie? More like a greedy! Am I the only one that wouldn't dream of having ketchup and gravy together??

Glad you're managing a Green day at last denise. Unfortunately I like my cauli cheese as a side rather than a meal in itself so usually have it with fish or gammon. I know I'm greedy but, in my defence, I rarely have any snacks just big meals.

    My EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, baked beans, HEA milk
    L: veggie omelette, beetroot
D: SW burger, SW wedges/chips, peas, tomatoes, mushrooms, fried onions
Syns: scrape of spread, weekend wine!:j

The 'omelette' was more like scrambled egg as I made the mistake of adding some cottage cheese (end of tub). Tasted fine but very soft.

So, Mr Shortie is going to be officially joining me in SW - woo hoo! Really excited for both of us

I'm been soooo off plan this week that I must have put on this week. But not to continue on with a bad week today I've been good and not trying to force an EESP (which I've twigged has caused some of my off-plan days)

    So today:

    B: Bacon, egg beans
    Sn: apple
L: Pasta with beef (2 syns?) with cheese (0.5 hea)
    Sn: apple
D: sw chilli with rice and cheese (0.5 hea)
Sn: 2x chopped up HiFi bars missed with a broken up merangue nest to pick at while we play computer games with the kids :-) (3 syns)

Other syns: milk in tea (4 syns by the end of the day)

Thanks Maman I think I will stick to what I know for the time being,as you know I am not a big fan of veggies. I just thought perhaps once in a while I can leave out potatoes in the hope I may lose a bit more.:D
You know I am a diabetic and need to have some sort of carbs at each meal is there any other carb than potatoes that is allowed on EE SP. :)

Im not looking forward to the scales at wi as had a rubbish week. Felt rough for most of it and ate rubbish to compensate. Today I have spent standing on the touch line in the snow and icy wind. Think im getting the lurg all over again either that or a touch of hypothermia. Sinuses still blocked and throat like sand paper, now nose is drippy again too. Hubby had day off as hes got it too. we are a right pair :(

About to eat more rubbish cos im hungry and theres white rolls calling me :o.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
