Morning everyone. Congrats to all on the losses and on your shiny Shala, although sorry you had a rubbish chinese!

Glad you have a day off tweets - snow is good for something!

I ate rubbish yesterday. Can't have any snack foods in the house atm which is awkward as I need bits for the kids. Need a kick up the backside and to not syn myself out of a loss this week :(

I wish I could hibernate until it's all gone. Then, wake up SLIM:D:D

Congrats Shala on the shiney and well done lantanna on getting rid of those 2lbs.

I had a sneaky peak at the scales earlier in the week and think I may have mis-read them last weekend as its not looking good :(

    Menu:

B: Cornflakes & BD milk. Decaff coffee
L: Chilli bean soup & LO brown rice (1tbsp), strawberries & raspberries. Coffee
    D: Kaema & rice. Tea.

    S: DF Chocolate.
    BM: 2hrs Ballroom

Struggling to find something to spend syns on today so may have a drink whilst at dancing or extra chocolate.

Had a really tiring day yesterday with changing the bed, making marmalade(which I did do earlier in the week), doing callanetics, in addition to the daily jobs of making the fire, & preparing tea. Planning on an easy day today so I have enough energy for dancing tonight.

Dark rye Ryvita joedenise thanks for checking x I count 6 with spread. Or sometimes B + 3 for spread. Is that right?

You can have 4 Ryvita original or dark rye for HEB + syns for spread. Low fat spread is 1 syn per 5g (tsp) Extra low fat is 0.5 syn per 5g. So syn value depends on how much you put on each one! I usually put 5g on each one so 4 syns for low fat or 2 syns for extra low fat.

    Hope that makes sense.

Finally having my Green day which I've been trying to have all week!

B - porridge (HEB1) made with water; Mullerlight banana custard; banana
L - HM veg soup (which is cooking whilst I type - should be cooked soon and then I'll blitz it a bit)
D - cauli cheese (HEA2/HEB2) + 1 (cornflour to thicken sauce). Might make some chips to have with it as well

HEA1 will be milk in tea throughout the day as usual

Not many syns there so will have something synful later.

Morning all. WI No 3 last night and was very, VERY happy with 1lb off. There was an epidemic of 0.5lbs off which made me feel happier about my last two. Off is always better than on! Must remember that.

So anyone got any ideas for free food tasting week? I'm assuming it's a nationwide thing and not just our group.

I wanted to try a dessert, but think I will struggle to find one that is totally free.

    Have a good weekend everyone.x

Joho - the only desert I can think of that is totally free is a fruit roulade. If you google "half syn cake" the recipe will come up.

I make it free by just leaving out the baking powder as it makes absolutely no difference to the cake!

Our consultant has said she's happy if we take in low syn foods (maximum of 5 syns per portion), although I think this is probably because we have a lot of people who can't or won't cook and they'll probably bring in bags of crisps etc.

I'm planning on making a veg curry on the morning (group is at 9.30am). I have a Mr D thermal pot so as long as I get the prep done the previous night it'll only take about 15-20 minutes then continue to cook for the couple hours between making it and eating it at group.

I love the dark rye ryvitta, it is my favourite!

Shala well done on your certificate! I hate that feeling, the last couple of times I've had a Chinese I've felt totally rubbish. I'm sticking with Indian from here on in!:rotfl:

Work people are scoffing and making sausage sandwiches, I sit beside the kitchen and the smell is killing me but I am being strong I need another loss this week, get this thing rolling to target and get rid of this Christmas gain.

I've had my oats and yogurt this morning and have meatballs and veg for lunch, they can keep their sausage sandwiches!
