  • You could potentially make some form of jelly dish free? Not sure if sheets of gelatine count as free or not. Some NAS fruit squash, some fruit and gelatine. Maybe make some custard out of vanilla mullerlight or banana custard mullerlight.

Just made huge SW quiche. Onions, courgettes, peas, red pepper, courgette, sweet potato etc etc

Having it for lunch with baked beans.
  • 2.5lb off for me Shala.

I'm actually feeling a little disappointed, was hoping for a stronger result in my first week :(

    Aw don't be disappointed iwannanicerlife - 2.5lb is a good loss. :T

Off to Madrid tomorrow, so signing off until Tuesday, so I shall declare an STS for Monday, shala. (congrats on the shiney, btw). That might not be the best idea really as I’ve been in holiday mode today already.

Anyway, you lot, don’t do as I say, not as I do and behave yourselves. Good luck.

Yes miss - we will behave ourselves in your absence (maybe) :p:D. Enjoy Madrid :D

    Good Morning :D

Not weight related but I am :j:j:j:j work is shut due to the deep bad snow we got :snow_laug:snow_grin

I am a kitchen assistant in a school kitchen :D

Enjoy your unexexpected day off tweets. Very icy here. No more snow so far (more forecast later). Quite breezy so have hung some towel out to give them a bit of a blow.

Well stupidly OH and i decided on a chinese last night for tea - not the lovely sausage casserole i'd planned - it was horrible. We had it from the ready meal section not the takeaway so not as many syns as it would have been  i didn't eat some of mine as it was just making me feel sick, i think it was all a bit sweet!

I've also woke up this morning with a banging headache, a poorly tummy and every time i think about it i gag a bit.. so lesson learnt i think!!

It's so annoying when you decide to use syns and it turns out to be yuk. I keep fancying fish n chips but I know that if I get them the batter will be yuk and the chips will be hard - but it probably won't stop me from eating them. Hope your head has cleared now.

Morning all. WI No 3 last night and was very, VERY happy with 1lb off. There was an epidemic of 0.5lbs off which made me feel happier about my last two. Off is always better than on! Must remember that.

So anyone got any ideas for free food tasting week? I'm assuming it's a nationwide thing and not just our group.

I wanted to try a dessert, but think I will struggle to find one that is totally free.

    Have a good weekend everyone.x
    Jo

Well done joho on your loss :T

I love the dark rye ryvitta, it is my favourite!

Work people are scoffing and making sausage sandwiches, I sit beside the kitchen and the smell is killing me but I am being strong I need another loss this week, get this thing rolling to target and get rid of this Christmas gain.

We have started getting the dark rye ryvita (79p HomeBargains) and they are pretty good.

I bet their sausages are the cheapest, naffy, filled with all sorts type and taste awful - yes they may smell nice but not good to eat. ;) Enjoy your meatballs. :D

Wish I'd know HB had dark rye Ryvita when I went shopping yesterday. I actually popped in there yesterday but had already bought my Ryvita in Mr Ts before going.

Will look out for them in there next time I'm there.

We have used these for coating things crushed up chicken, fish, scotch eggs instead of using scan bran. An added bonus is they are cheaper too.
