Stress levels slowly reducing but feel like I'm living on edge at the moStarted sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb

Shortie I am the stereotypical tomboy / student chic even now the new Mr says I'm a ladette just because I don't do make up Im not into doing my hair and jeans n Tshirt do me just fine...
However when required I can pull out the big guns n do a dress and I recently discovered hair ups n make ups which I had done for a formal occasion and he was shocked by how different I looked - however I did say if I made this effort all the time it wouldn't be special
I'm fairly ️happy in my own skin but would like to maybe be that little bit more girly?? I'm taking the slowly approach - started buying tshirts in river island /new look that are more fitted - swapped boy fit jeans for skinny jeans / hoodies for knitted jumpers - I figure slowly I'll get there however I don't wish to dress like my mumStarted sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb

Welcome to the newbies; hugs mumoftwo - put SW on the back burner for the time being family is so important.
It's WI for me this morning so will pop back later with how I've done - have been pretty good this week (probably a couple of syns over but not too much) so hoping for a small loss.
Another EE day today (I will get my Green day one day this week - hopefully before the cauli doesn't get too soft and I end up having to make soup with it!)
B - melon chunks after WI
L - tuna mayo & cucumber sandwich (HEB + 1)
D - beef kofta curry/rice
HEA will be milk in tea throughout the day.
Syns - mayo 1; not sure what else but possibly a lolly

Congrats on your losses blinkered and mumoftwo :T Hugs to you as well, put your family first for now.
Welcome happe and mrsmuffinHi All, I've finally read all the thread! Its taken ages! I lost some weight (a stone and a half) on slimming world in 2012/2013 and put it all back on when i gave up smoking. In June last year I had a lovely baby girl and am now at my heaviest. (I have lost all my pregnancy weight, in fact i lost 2 stone in the 5 days after having her! Was a bad pregnancy with gestational diabetes, choliaststis sp? and other problems and she was born by c section a month early at the great weight of 9lb 13oz!!! I was treated for my diabetes throughout pregnancy and am pleased to say it has gone and im back to normal).
So last week i said enough is enough and i'm getting back on it, so here i am! I prob wont post too much but i will be reading along. I think ive got the gist of EESP but will be sticking to EE as thats what i know. I will also be ignoring the new fruit classifications on pineapples, blueberries etc as i lost last time eating them and i will this time too just not as quickly. Im still breastfeeding but have started weening so will have 1 extra HEA a day.
I will prob join the next challenge as i am going it alone as i never found the class that helpful and as im on maternity money is tighter than usual.
Well done to all the losers, and good luck for the coming week.
I started last Wednesday and after my first week i have lost a massive 5.5lbs! (Think its a combo of healthy eating, the baby feeding all the time! and Christmas weight) So I'm off to a great start! I don't really have any friends in RL to talk to about this as they all look to be a size 12 at the most! (I'm a size 20) MY DH is very supportive though and will half be doing SW with me.
Mrs Muffin xx
I'm also a breastfeeding mumI found feeding has really helped the weight drop off, even now he's on solids too there's still plenty of feeds to help me lose weight, although it's slowing down now. Also, I was size 18/20 and now I'm a 12 so it's definitely doable

Thank you for the list of SW meals. We have a new Iceland opening soon where I live, so I will have to test a few sausages :-)
How silly of me to think the list may be on the SW website!
Are you in Gillingham then, Lucy?? I drive past through quite often and see there is a new one opening there.0 -
Hugsmumoftwo
Mildredd that sounds like me - jeggins are making an appearance as are cardis instead of hoodies (though I'm not convinced cardis suit me). The jumper/top though is a good way to hid lumpy bits, keep me warmer and snuggled so I think I'll struggled to entirely let them go
Btw, I was nicknamed dudette by a workfriend years ago which seems to have stuck, lokApril 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500
