Can you put me on the list please, what goal do you use to loose

Welome Fay -as Lois said just let me know how much you want to lose by the 1st March
STS for me this week feeling sorry for myself again, don't seem to be able to shift weight at all. Meals are a all ok SW wise and I rarely over syn. Tried upping veg instead of fruit and drinking water last week and that clearly hasn't helped so anyone have any other suggestions. Consultant hasnt, she suggested food diary, SAS log, rereading my book and checking syns - all of which I am doing. I think i p'd her off a bit really because she was short with me after she said I should repeat my first week and I reminded her I only lost 2lbs then. I makes it worse when loads of members are having 4lb+ losses and bragging about their nights out, takeaway and choccy feasts.
rant over! Pity party closed, it's a new week.

I feel for you MM.. i believe i've done everything right (except for one cheat meal a week) and yet i haven't lost in 3 weeks... it's  i know!!

Have you got much to lose? and also have you go to a new class you could go to with a more helpful/sympathetic consultant?

Keep posting up your menus and someone will check them for you... :D

Note to self - check syns BEFORE eating.

I thought the little quorn cocktail sausages would be a nice filling addition to some eggs and veg for a kind of scrambled egg with stuff in (I never succeed in making an omelette so have given up). Presumed they would be about 1 syn for 3 as that's about the same size as a normal quorn sausage.

It appears they are 1 syn each  I used 4 :(, and I'd already treated myself to some light mayo with the salad on the side. Won't be buying those sausages again, and I'll get hubby to eat the rest!

I reckon, having looked back at my food diary for last week, that my 0.5lb loss was probably caused by oversynning/underaccounting for syns. Will be strict this week *polishes halo*

I have also been looking at the NHS bmi calculator and it doesn't quite tally with SW. NHS says minimum healthy weight is 8s6, SW says 9s1. Wonder why the difference?!

And one last random musing... I won Miss Slinky in my group. I still occasionally see or hear about the prizes but I got nothing :( Not even a certificate. I was done!

Is it me or does anyone else find the website less than user friendly?

Thanks Shala. Good to know it's not just me.
I haven't got a lot to lose really, 14lbs would have me in the lower half of a healthy BMI. It is the only class that really suits me so I won't change that and actually when your weight losses are regular/good then she really enthuses about that and we often have discussions about foods, menu planning ect so I don't think she is the problem. I must be doing something wrong somewhere and am hoping that I can sort it out. I have been a member for 11 months and have lost 11lbs in total!
    Today's menu
    EE
    He a skimmed milk
    He b hifi
    B banana and hifi
L egg, sw chips and beetroot. Apple
D ham salad (balsamic vinegar as dressing) j spud mullerlight
Snacks, frozen cherries (fab to suck on in the evening - our leader came up with that) and I bought some of the new rhubarb hifi bars so I might have one of those this evening (3)
    Comments and criisisms welcomed.
    Thanks x

Welcome Fay :) Don't worry, you can still join us without a login! If you need help looking up syns in the meantime then shout on here and someone should come along and find things for you. Good luck with your weight loss :)

Website regularly does my head in - far too many clicks to get through to the things you need like syns online. Plus it can be rubbish - the new one the other day had too many entries so I had to narrow my search. I put in quorn to start with... then mozzarella, and then suddenly I get the thing I wanted (quorn mozzarella & pesto bake things) plus a load of mozzarella types that were nothing to do with quorn at all?!

That's what I think - didn't realise on the night that I should have got anything, but I reckon a certificate would have been nice!
