I have a couple of minutes tonight so popped my head in here to see some great loses - well done!!

Today ended up changing quite a lot, and we had Jamie Oliver's Moroccan lamb for dinner - very yummy, and I avoided the cous cous that goes with it and had just salad and HM Hummus instead. Lunch was smoke mackerel and salad, but i have a horrible feeling that smoked mackerel is not Free (smoked trout is). Argh, I had 150 grams, so not massive but still.

Anyway, I do feel as if I have been healthy.

Tomorrow I am going to have:
BF: Fruit and porridge (HEB and A)
L: veg stir fry with omelette
D: French onion soup, salad and hummus

I have a long dog walk too, so hopefully a bit of a booster.
    Trying to keep in budget.

Onions Maman ugh! No way. I can eat them in soup or as pickles. I am the same with cauliflower in soup, or pickled. Oh, I am a fussy one. But to tell the truth when I do fried onions for my husband and son they always look appetising, the taste of onion I don't mind, but the texture is horrible, a bit slimy I have tried, but no. I also keep trying green beans and corn and shredded cabbage. I suppose eventually it will come. Fingers crossed.

I think that's why I lose slowly I wish there was something else I could do.
I didn't have this trouble in the seventies it only took 19 weeks to lose 3 stone at the old old Weight Watchers.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Just 0.5lb for me this week :-( and I thought I was doing well.......

I'm confused though, I know we're not supposed to track calories but I've just put today's into my fitness pal and although I'm within what I've burnt (11000 steps) I'm still eating c.2200 carries a day. I'm also 5 over on my syns but that is due to my 'sulky' glass of wine after group!

However, I've done myself a little plan for the next couple of days which are still slimming world friendly and I have about 250 cals left - which would be syns.

I think that this is where I'm going wrong - although I'm following 'the rules' I can still eat too much.

I work away in the week which makes things awkward but this is today's food:

B bacon, scrambled egg and orange juice (cooked for me)
L jacket and chilli (morrisons cafe) and muller light
D steak and salad at weatherspoons with a large (!) Wine

    Snacks - clementines, apple
He latte and 2 alpen bars

On the plus side I'm hoping to move into a little flat soon so will have more control over what I can eat.
  • Evening all! Sorry I've not been around much lately - things have been manic at work over the last week. I've still managed to stuck to the plan though, so am hopinh for a good loss tomorrow.

    Here's today's food:

    Breakfast - Banana and satsuma
Lunch - Chicken, ham and cheese salad (HEA plus 2 syns for honey mustard dressing), satsuma
Dinner - Cape Malay Curry with pilau rice (3 syns)
Snacks - Space raiders (3 syns), walnuts & raisins (HEB + 2 syns), weight watchers yogurt

Sweets wise, I don't eat any now, but when I first did SW I was much keener on chocolate and I used to find that one finger of Twirl was enough to satisfy the need. I can't remember how many syns it was, maybe 4?

I find a finger of twirl usually hits the spot too Lois - I think I usually allow about 4.5 syns for them off the top of my head (might be the ones out of multipacks which are usually a bit smaller)

I've lost 0.5 pounds this week. Not a huge amount but definitely better than a gain.

    It's definitely a loss cte :T
