  • I often eat some small pack of sweets or something and think, "that really wasn't worth it." I often find a very small bar of kinder chocolate (3.5) just leaves me wanting another one. So has anyone got any suggestions for sweet treats that are worth their Syn value, something that seems good value. I'll start

Pink & Whites Marshmallow Thing - 2.5 syns
Chocolate highlights mixed with fat free yoghurt - 2 syns
    Flying saucers - 4 for 1 syn

I find most other stuff to be pretty poor value, anything vaguely healthy like a bar leaves me unsatisfied.

Shala - what are baked oats? never heard of them before! I've heard of overnight oats but they're not cooked at all IIRC.

It's got to be Curly Wurley for me @ 6.5 syns - best if they've been in the fridge or freezer for a while first. I can make half a CW last most of the evening when it's been frozen (so only 3.5 syns!) Which reminds me I haven't had one for ages will have to look out for them again:D

Thanks all, I'm really going for it! I'm hoping it will be a bit of a confidence booster too as it will be the second time I've tried dipping my toes in the dating pool since being widowed over four and half years ago. The first attempt was incredibly distressing, not for the obvious reasons you may think of, he was just a complete and utter 'bleep' (fill with your preferred sweary word - I've used them all).

Maman, thanks for heads up with pineapple and banana. I should get my head back in the books! I might forego my morning banana but will keep with the pineapple as I just love it - and I've still got two to use up:D

I usually don't post what I eat after dinner as it's a mish mash of satsumas, pickles, gerkins, bits of ham, picky things and not all at once! I'm usually too embarrassed at the amount I can get through! But in my defence it keeps me away from the snack cupboard which is always loaded for my beanpole DS2.

The 'do' is casual as we're out all afternoon and will probably end up pubbing into evening, so probably smart jeans, heels (eek!!) and floaty top. May wear flats and put heels in my bag!!

    Hi everyone,

It's a loss of 0.5lbs for me this week please Shala.

I usually go to my group Monday morning, but I went today instead. It was my DGD's birthday at weekend and too much cake was consumed, so I'm pleased with my small loss!!:)

Well done to all losers and everyone else.

  • Flying visit but just wanted to say 'Well done' on the losses people :T.

Did a little bit of stitching earlier and I can see the end in sight now so I thought I would stitch a little more before the eyes get too tired.

Closing laptop as I just keep getting distracted.

DH is busy making BNS soup for our lunch tomorrow. Evening meal is chicken pieces coated with scan bran and SW chips and some salad. Hoping to set slow cooker away in the morning with the Schwartz Sausage and Bean Casserole for our evening meal tomorrow night. So much easier when you plan ahead. :D

Right that's it my needle is calling. Will catch up with you all later.
