Just a quick one as i'm trying to make sure I go to bed at 10!! I will sleep!

Thanks for all the replies about sleep.. Inazuma, i'll definitely be looking for the techniques to sleep. I tried a breathing one the other day which helped get me to sleep but it's when I keep waking up (and weeing :rotfl:)

    North West here .

Ok you can be a lady , lass or an :A or even all three like me :p :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Good Luck at WI :)

Will look at SW turkey burgers I got coupons from bzz or orchard came today and first coupon is £10 off £10 spend on fresh meat so free meat :j:j:j

Others £2-50 off £10 spend on fresh meat :)

Yep a mix of all three tweets ;)

Just had the burgers and they were lovely. Some left over so will freeze (uncooked) for another time. The turkey mince we used was just over 6% fat and should have been 5 or under but that wasn't so bad I suppose.

Pleased you have found the homity pie recipe virgomaiden. Does seem a popular meal here so hope you enjoy it too.

    Enjoy Madrid greentiger.

Well done gien on having a weekend away and managing to STS :T

Well done on the 'no scone' beanie. This was one of our downfalls - each time we would go out we would end up going for a cup of coffee and 9 times out of 10 we would have to have a scone with it. Now I usually stick with a black americano. It makes you think twice before going to coffee shop.

Hi all.. Some great losses reported :T

I'm in pig out mode.. Meh!

Went to a keep fit taster session on Sunday with some SW friends.. Ran by the council to promote their classes.. Zumba is not for me! Found that out pretty quickly :p tried a few others that were ok.. They were going around taking photos, spent most of my time trying to avoid them.. Thought I had but one of the girls posted pics from the event to her FB.. I'm on one.. Argh! Had been feeling quite ok with myself up to seeing that, I look awful.. Really p'eed me off.. Probably being daft but it doesn't take much at times does it?

Will have to give my head a wobble and try and pull it back for Thurs :o

In better news, I took delivery of my new under counter freezer today.. Excited to be able to buy more frozen veg and fruit to save a bit of money.. And to do some batch cooking :D
  • Whoops nearly forgot to post result of wi - it was a ...............2lb loss Shala :j. That's better than I was expecting. I also won the raffle which was lovely - Recipe notebook, a SW diary (I don't think that you can buy these), ingredients to make overnight oats (inc fresh raspberries) and a kilner jar. I love overnight oats and I love books so it was a win win for me :j

There is a lovely new book coming out on sale late Feb (think its called Food Glorious Food ?) and some of the recipes look gorgeous. Its about £5 to buy but will be free when purchasing 12 week countdown through Feb. So for approx £50 - you will pay for 10 weeks and get 2 free and a cookbook worth £5 is a pretty good offer. It's just pulling the £50 out in the first place :D Anyone thinking of buying countdown this week would be better waiting til next week ;).

Apparently they are promoting Free Food through February and there will be a 'party' of Free Food at class next week. Consultant reckons it's special for my b'day - well she can s*d off as I've booked a holiday. :p

Hope you all have a good week.

I had an eclair tonight but it was the cake sort. Fortunately only one of the mini party ones, 2.5 syns so could have been much, much worse.

    Result!!:T

I'd heard about the free foods too and I'll be interested to know what they say. It worries me that they promote them so much as on their own they won't necessarily help you lose weight even though they're healthier than stuffing your face with eclairs! Considering they're gradually discontinuing Red & Green they should be shouting the third of free food on EE and none on EESP instead IMO.
