So do I that white ice it turns into is impossible to walk on.

My birthday is in February the 27th and I am also a blue eyed girl .

Just had homity pie again for my tea with sweetheart cabbage I cant believe I only tried it for the first time last week its nom nom. :D

Just read the predictions for the north east from Wednesday and all I can say is

Just for the record my eyes are blue so thats true but 'girl' is a big stretch of the imagination now :rotfl:

We haven't had homity pie for a few weeks now so I would think it will be appearing on the menu very shortly. :D

Just seen the time and I must get motivated to get ready for class. I always try and go to squeeze the last few drops out (sorry tmi) but I just dont think I can manage any. Oh well will report back later.

DS has just had his SW turkey burgers and he said they were gorgeous. He had to have his now as he would have starved to death by 9pm :rotfl:

  • Hi everyone
Just caught up on all the gossip and some great losses out there, very inspirational so thank you for sharing.

Day 2 almost done if I can make it through the next couple of hours! I had an ok sort of day. The habits are the hardest thing to break. Nipped to Tesco in my lunch break and the deli counter had samples out so before I knew what I had done, there was chicken satay, scotch egg, baked ham, wee Sicilian breadsticks things dipped in sweet chili sauce all rammed in my mouth!!!!
My only saving grace is that they were all tiny wee bits on the end of a cocktail stick but I didn't even want them - I had eaten them out of habit!!

Lunch was my bbq chicken salad which was delicious and a fat free yogurt.
Next came afternoon tea....again a finger of shortbread found its way into my mouth without any conscious thought. So mad at myself. Not sure how many syns to count for my habitual eating today.

No more lunchtime visits to the shops as perhaps they only put out samples then so hoping I will miss them next time. The girls in the staffroom now all know to remind me not to put my hand in the biccy jar if they see me reach for it!!

Moving onto dinner, I had lifted salmon fillets out the freezer with the plan of having one with salad tonight and the other flaked through my salad for lunch tomorrow. However, they have both been scoffed.

I've just had a cuppa whilst reading back and not missed my usual choccy biccy so that's a plus. Just need to get to 9pm and then I'm safe!

So mad with myself, I wouldn't be so angry if I had made a decision to eat something tasty but I feel I've wasted syns on nonsense that I never actually tasted - iykwim.

Anyway, about to put the kids to bed and then tidy the dining room as its used as the dumping ground in here. This should pass an hour or so. x

L: Prawn and veg stir fry
D: salmon steak, vegetables and a baked potato.
HEA milk in coffee and tea

    Evening all.

STS please Shala. TAnd I call that very lucky indeed. Now next week ..... I'm off to Madrid on Friday for 4 days, hoping all the touristy stuff will counterbalance any food indiscretions.

Well done, Whiplashy, ilovetea and SeaBee.

    Hello, Hannah.

    Today's Intake

Breakfast: WW lemon tart yogurt, banana
Lunch: hexb egg mayo (1 syn) sandwich
Snacks: raspberry ruffle bar (2.5 syns - good value, I think), 3 Werthers Original (3 syns)
Dinner: pasta bake made with jar Ragu bacon & tomato (guessing about 7 syns per portion + hexa cheddar), mixed salad, melon and cherries
    Total so far:13.5 syns

Hmmm, what can I have later for 1.5 syns?

    Tomorrow's Plan:
Breakfast: grapefruit, hexb toast & jam (1 syn)
Lunch: hm leek & potato soup
Dinner: (slow cooker) coriander chicken, rice, veg to be decided

Thanks for keeping things going, shala.
