Not too great food wise over the weekend, on Saturday there was wine syns(only a wine spritzer), Sunday I had a headache(tension migraine), so couldn't eat all my lunch and ended up eating rubbish for tea, basically buttered digestives, two rounds of toast and half a bar of chocolate. Not slept too well last few nights which hasn't helped. Back on it again today, hopefully.

Morning lovelies, not a bad weekend, just trying to keep in the zone and not think too much about food! Think wine consumed was within syns:beer:
Today's menu -
Before work - Greek yog (1/2), banana and peppermint tea
Breakfast - 2 x toast (HEXB) and light chive Philly (HEXA)
Lunch - SW quiche muffins (FREE!!) with lots of salad, pineapple and strawberries
Dinner - Leftover chilli in baked potato.
Will keep syns for 'those' times when nothing but alcohol or chocolate will do:rotfl: Loving the orange and choc sprinkle muller lights at the moment.
Away to read back and catch up with you all. Take care x0 -
I've really got into fruit teas of late, decided very early on I couldn't be bothered wasting my HEA on some milk, I also like milky tea so was using it on two large mugs of tea. I'd recommend giving it a go if you're using your HEA on milk for tea and coffee.
Got myself some Feta in Aldi for 89p, 45g is a HEA, so looking forward to a lunchtime greek salad. Had a bit of a bad day on Saturday, son wanted a huge cherry bakewell in a cafe, ate the cherry and I ate the rest. Probably about 100 syns.
Had a better day yesterday, and managed to lose the weight I put on with the cake, so might just about manage a half pound lost for my 3st sticker on Tuesday night.
I'm experimenting with something I call SP-Lite, it's basically the SP plan but it allows two mullerlights a day and doesn't allow the second HEB. So basically its an EE plan, with fewer carbs at meal times.
Really getting into pickled beetroot as well!0 -
Hello everyone! I am back on Slimming world after slipping backwards and realising I am miserable (again) and need to do something about it! I have joined a group that is at 17.00 so I can go straight from work but it is so big that it takes so long to get around everyone - I have been just weighing and going as it gets soooo boring. Anyway, I hope you don't mind my dipping into the thread, I was wanting to ask a question about the campfire stew recipe that I have seen, with the gammon:
"Originaly posted by Annie021063
Campfire Stew
Gammon joint
2 tins baked beans
2 orange peppers diced
1 large onion diced
2 tbs smoked paprika
2 garlic cloves crushed
6 tbs tomato pur!e
Chuck it all in slow cooker for at least 6 hours
Pull gammon with forks when cooked and mix with other ingredients"
The amount of paprika to use, is that 2 tablespoons of smoked paprika??? That seems like a lot! or does it mean teaspoons? I just wanted to check before I tried it and ruined it!!!! Thanks0 -
I don't think it makes any difference really, tbsp seems a lot, but you're mixing it with a lot of stuff, if you don't like it spicy use teaspoons, if its not spicy enough, add some more.0

Does anyone else have really rubbish sleep every Sunday night
i hate it.. every week i start my work week knackered as i can't sleep  i managed 3-4 hours last night.. i'm sure my work colleagues would appreciate me sleeping more too :rotfl: i have very low tolerance levels on a Monday!
Not really expert in this Shala, but if you look on line about mindfulness, there should be some unwinding exercises, which will allow your brain to relax and hopefully sleep will come then! I sometimes work evenings and get home around 10.30 and there is no way I can sleep - I am bouncing around the house!
You might find it's because you've awakened late on Sunday morning so by bedtime you're not tired enough? I believe the thing is to try and have the same bedtime and getting up time every day. No lie-ins!!0 -

Fortunately I don't use milk in tea and only a smidge now and again in coffee. Got DH a teapot with infuser as part of his pressie at Christmas and bought him some Whittards loose leaf Earl Grey to go with it. By what a difference to the usual twinings/supermarket Earl Grey teabags - lots more flavour without being too strong. That has become our treat.Wow that wasn't a family-sized bakewell was it jock for 100 syns
. Hope you get your next bit of bling on Tuesday. Daren't look at another plan - my head is already mashed with EESP. Don't think I am a convert - had two SP days this week and I dont think I will be looking at much of a loss tonight.

Welcome aboard Hannah  I think it will be tablespoons of smoked paprika as there are quite a few ingredients to go with gammon joint. If you are unsure, as jock says, knock it down a bit as it will be easier to add some more rather than spoiling it. Good luck.
Lack of brekkie this morning as I was running lateand didn't have a 'nana at Mums as I thought I might be doing SP. Large salad with lo roast chicken followed by bowl of melon. Tonight after wi it will be turkey burgers (with grated courgettes), SW wedges/chips and maybe some baked beans. Sweetcorn in salad and SW chips will make it an EE day so I could have had that 'nana  Off out now to get some wholemeal buns for burgers. Will have a think to see what I am going to spend my syns on. :rotfl::rotfl:
