What inspirational peeps on here. Hugs to those who need them and congrats for all the anniversaries and tremendous weight losses.
Well day one is nearly over. I had home made soup for lunch with a free yoghurt for afters.
Mid afternoon I had a couple of clementines and dinner was chicken salad.
This is my time for eating so I'm about to drop the hem on the wee ones school trousers and then finish the ironing. If I drag it out, it should hopefully take me to 9ish whereby I'll have an options choc and have passed the need/want to eat danger zone.
Wish me luck!
Working tomorrow so have made a bbq chicken salad to take in and have my fruit and yoghurt ready. Not sure how many syns in the bbq chicken though. It was one of the wee trays from Asda. ASDA Chosen by You Barbecue Chicken Breast Chunks Approx 180kcals in 120g of chicken. Any ideas anyone.First ever SW challenge 2015: 0/70Watch this space!0 -
Thanks for all the congratulations! I still feel in my head like I am not a lot smaller, then I catch sight of myself, or buy small clothes, and realise how much SW has done!crabapple~~fabarooni news on the size 12 :j :j
Boo to going back to work though
At least this way day 1 is going to be mostly about everyone I bump into saying 'haven't you lost weight?'. Mind you, the last day I worked was 6 days before I had my baby so I was pretty massive then even for me :rotfl::heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Can I ask what a NSV is please? I get the gist (well done Crabapple, you should be really proud!) but can't for the life of me think what it might stand for...0

Can I join you all please? Dabbled 18 months ago and lost 7lb in 3 weeks. My head wasn't in the right place though and I then suffered a long illness where I just got heavier and heavier. Now is time to address things! I rejoined group on Thursday night and have paid for three months up front - hopefully that will keep me focused!
I need to lose just under two stone, but would like to lose another 7-10lb on top of that.
Here we go ......0 -

A 1lb is good hwoolgar. Hopefully you will have more time to keep popping in through the week - I think it helps with motivation
Have just had supper - 2 ryvita (hexb) with a smidge of flora, 6 cherry toms, hexa of cheese and 8 olives followed by a wispa biscuit. Biscuit was ok but the choc was a bit on the soft side so I didn't get time to savour it, I just had to get it in and lick fingers.
Got a bit of a headache coming on - it's probably just tiredness. Got to be on the ball in the morning as we have to follow DS to garage so he can drop his car off and then get back to dentist - all due about the same time but in separate towns.
Hope we all have good results through the week.

I have one more week of maternity leave and then back to the officeI had workwear in size 18/20 (and maternity clothes in similar) from before but have chucked it. Today I went shopping for some black trousers & tops and what I bought was size 12
Cannot believe that it fits me and looks good - can't ever remember being a 12. Despite the disbelief and shock at these clothes going on and fitting nicely I'm all :j:j:j
:T
That's brilliant, well done!
You must feel really different being smaller than you've ever been, what's it like, do you have more energy, more confidence? Any negatives?

crabapple Well done on the size 12 :T:T:T
And so say all of us!!!!:DGood evening everyone, this is my Monday menu plan....
B. Porridge, A/B strawberries, clementine.
L. Lentil and bacon soup ( onions leeks garlic carrots, split peas lentils
Bacon stock cube mixed herbs ) ryvita, B. Banana.
D. Baked beans veggie sausage 4 syns beetroot. Clementine.
Supper. Options 2 syns
Can someone please check what type of menu I have done is it Green, EE Or SP. ? I need carbs of some kind at each meal being diabetic But I suppose once or twice a week won't matter if I leave potatoes out.
Thanks.:)
I'd call it a Green Day. If there's actually bacon in the soup (rather than just bacon flavour from the stock) then shala's right you'd have 3 HEBs (porage, Ryvita and bacon) so just syn the lowest as you're only allowed 2. You've got plenty of Speed food in there as well as your free banana and you could have another HEA if you want.
It is very close to a SP day (no free carbs like potatoes/pasta/rice) except for the banana and I think someone said that veggie sausages don't count as Protein food only Quorn mince and pieces.
Whichever it is, it's good and healthy. When you say you need carbs because you're diabetic, is it enough to have 2 HEBs (bread, crackers) and then carby things like baked beans? SW don't recommend SP for diabetics but the odd day like tomorrow's menu (minus the banana) might suit.
virgo, I'm not certain but they have BBQ fillets at just half a syn each online so hope they're the right ones.0
