  • I dropped out a couple of months before christmas, then came back this month, and i've been made to feel as welcome this time as last time :D

I don't think there are any cliques. Just a matter of some people can post more than others.

PennyLane a new girl this week in our class lost 11lb!!! She is a big girl, and like someone else says, i'm guessing she has gone from eating lots and lots of unhealthy foods to following the plan 100%. I'll be interested to see what she loses this week.

Thanks tweets for reposting the chart.

naturaljazz, I post the chart weekly, it isn't hard to find if you look back through the posts as it's a massive picture. I'm not quite sure why you couldn't find it, but if you have a suggestion to make it more findable then please let me know. i can't post it more than once a week as I just don't have time...

I appreciate that the thread moves very fast especially at this time of year and I think this is why some people drop out as they just don't have the time to keep up. Although we have a lot of drop-outs other times of the year too..

I guess another reason, just as the reason why they stop going to SW class is their January motivation goes - I heard a statistic on the radio that 4 out of 5 people who started a 'healthy eating' regime at the start of January will have already given up this week.

I apologise if the thread seems a bit cliquey but I don't think anyone gets ignored intentionally, I think we all try and answer questions and review people's posts but as you can appreciate we can't reply to everyone's post otherwise the thread would be even bigger..

To reply to people you click the 'quote' button under their post and it will bring up the reply box with their post in. You can then reply underneath.

E.t.a.On my iPad so sorry if this post seems a bit jumbled but I can't see much of my screen and if I attempt smilies then it goes horribly wrong lol - it's not my intention to come across bluntly so apologies if anyone is reading it that way...

Thank you Shala, wow I like the chart, I appreciate the time put in etc, as I say I think its a great idea :)
Remember when you judge someone, it does not define them ... You define yourself :j
  • Just to be clear... I didn't say cliques. I said people who know each other, it was not a criticism, it was an observation (very different). There is nothing to criticize in this group, i think it is a great idea :)

Ahh I may have mis-interpreted then.. It was the way I read it..

it is hard to join a big thread like this, I sympathise, and I lurk on a lot of other threads because I'm unsure of what to say. But everyone keep posting, reading, reviewing and poking fun ;) and somewhere along the line it'll be like you've always been here!

E.t.a. Ha... I see in the time it's taken me to type that 16 times to try and get the right words together without offending anyone CP and Wiz beat me too it..

    Thanks guys!!

Shala, like Lois I’ve only ever had it as a sauce with meat or in gravy, but I was hoping someone might have a recipe that’d use a lot at once! I’ll join GREEEEN Slimming!

Well done, lush, tweets, maman, denise, mich, jazz, angelbob and Catcherupper.

Oh ….. crusty bread and butter …. yum, drool.

Today did not go well. Started out ok as usual (breakfast & lunch). Then I realised I’d forgotten that grandson was having tea here and I know he didn’t like what I’d planned, so I took some fish out of freezer. Unfortunately it didn’t thaw in time - so we had fish and chips (grandson and I shared a supper).

    Tomorrow’s plan:
Breakfast: French toast ( ½ hexb - all I have) and berries
Lunch: I’ll be out, so I’ll do my best to behave
Dinner: cod (defrosted already :D) in cherry tomato sauce, sugar snap peas, sauteed potatoes, lo custard & fruit

    Fingers crossed.

Green tiger - life happens ;) it'll be within syns no biggy and the fat will help jolt the metabolism ;)

Natural - I post a lot of ramblings mainly
I read every post (ok I may skip the menus but they make me hungry ok :()
Some of us have been here constantly for over a year - some longer - some drop in and out and restart - some people post once and disappear? It's hard sometimes once someone's posted a few times I'm more likely to reply to a question etc - but I think I'm a weird one :/

The challenge is a bit of fun and counts down to normally coincide with a holiday / school term - the first one ran the length of the gbbo as its only a tv series we can be controlled for a few weeks right ;)

Cp I noticed your return :)
I secretly like it when people come back after being missing because I quite like knowing people's back stories I find it interesting and it makes me less of an unknown xxx

There are a few missing persons who used to post regular and then disappeared and I find myself randomly hoping that their okay with their life xxx

    Bad old day today.
Just checking in to try and keep my sanity.
Spent the whole day in tears- and I know my mum meant well when she tried to coax me into having a salad but I just wanted a tuna stottie and a corned beef Pastie, I didn't want a salad. I won.
Been half on, half off plan today but my heart not in it today. My sig should explain why :(
Hope everyone's ok, sorry for my black mood xx
