Bitterly, bitterly disappointed. :( Stayed the same this week and it's only my second week ....... This time around.

Stuck to EE, weighed, synned everything and walked miles this week. I just don't get it. Every time I've done SW this same pattern develops ..... Lose a couple of pounds, stay the same for a few week, lose half a pound, stay the same for weeks and so on.

It is just so unfair!!!:cry:

Your crusty bread and butter has me drooling. It my downfall too,
I daren't buy a loaf often as would eat it all. I like to buy those part baked rolls and just cook one at a time.

I love them too. I could just eat one now ! Yum, yum !:T
  • Well done to all the "losers" :)

Try not to be too disheartened Pennylane - your body may still be getting used to the plan. Fingers crossed it catches up next week and you get a big loss then!

Just reading the SW site. How the heck can anybody lose 10.5 lbs in their first week? It's featuring a woman who did so. I stuck to it 100% last week and walked miles and the best I could manage was 3 lbs. I was really pleased with that.

I've never in my life lost 10.5 lbs in a week!!! Even when I've been ill or had operations I've never lost an amount like that.

My snack of choice would be bread and butter. Nice crusty white bread and proper butter. I will treat myself when I get to target (and promptly get out the top end of range after having eaten six loaves :rotfl:)

Very few people can lose that much. Don't feel down because you don't lose like that cos hardly anyone does. Any weight loss is good and hopefully you'll have some next week.

She probably had her heaviest clothes on and pockets full of stones at her first weigh-in! :D

On a more serious note, the woman probably went from eating huge amounts of extremely unhealthy fattening food to much smaller amounts of healthy food.

When you start dieting for the first time you're more likely to lose a large amount of weight, particularly if you do a quickstart regime as EESP is intended to be.

There was a man who lost a whole stone in his first week when I was attending a group. He was very big, at least 25 stone I'd estimate.

Oh penny, I know just how you feel. I have never had a big loss - my biggest was 2.5lb on my first week. I often only lose 1/2 or STS but keep going because if I don't the weight I have lost will be back on before I know it. I stick to plan, weigh he's and don't over syn on most days but just one takeaway, meal out or unplanned drinks can result in a gain for me and it is so disheartening when you sit and listen to other members who have eaten this, that and my share too and still had a good loss.
I'm consciously trying to drink more water and up the veg this week. I walk my dogs for at least an hour a day and am never still so I really do know where you are coming from.
Keep your chin up and moan away in fact do anything but eat all the things that are shouting your name. You can do it - remember the tortoise and the hare!!!

Well I can finally report a loss for the chart! -2lb please shala, pleased with that.. Won the raffle too so a good night!

Lots of the new starters seem to have dwindled off, didn't take long to fly around us all.. Like the look of that new book coming out soon..

Mourning the end of the chocolate orange hifi tho.. Wish I'd stocked up on them :(

Good luck everyone yet to WI x

Aawww loving Mr Shortie, he's just saved today's diet. I'm on my way back from work drinks and he and the kids ate out so no dinner prepped. I said I'd grab a McDs but he had already pulled out a sw chilli. :D

So, today's food (on EESP today and tomorrow - definately feeling less hormonally bloated today as a result) :

B: porridge (heb1) with milk powder (2 syns?)
    Sn: apple
L: diet coke pork hock with onions, roasted peppers and roasted carrots
    Sn: satsuma
D: chill with cheese (hea). Not sure if there's roasted veg left to blast up so it might be a heavily P based dinner but heck... It's far better than a McDs :rotfl:

Other: milk in tea (4 syns) and two HiFi Light bars later (heb2)

I was very good at the work drinks and stuck to diet coke :p
