I always make a proper cheese sauce when I do veggie lasagne or cauli cheese but I don't bother with the butter so just some cornflour, HEA milk and HEB cheese so just a couple of syns for the cornflour (I only do these sorts of meals on Green days).

Absolutely no idea what I'm eating today other than some melon after WI for breakfast and something with mince for dinner tonight. DH wants cobbler but far too many syns for my liking (suet and flour - think it works out about 20 syns for a very small portion:eek:).

Will probably have a sandwich of some sort at lunchtime.

Our consultant has had so many new starters that she has had to split the Thursday morning group into 2 groups - problem is I think most people are still going to want to do the early start rather than a group starting at 11.30 which obviously goes into the lunchtime period - will find out when I go to group shortly.

    Back later with WI result.

    Well done losers:T

I'm heading for a gain again tonight I can feel it and the PMT is setting in. There has been no toilet activity this week either and its now Thursday. Sorry too much information but I really don't know what is going on with me ! Maybe its from the boxes of Rennie I ate last week : ( :wall:

Just about to draw up an exercise plan for myself here. Trying to get back to where I was is hard. I definitely need the exercise to maintain a size 10. This is what the problem is once you start you cannot stop!

    That is all!!

Shala, Fingers crossed that you get a loss tonight!

Oh Maman, yes I have a selection of hand signals:shocked: would be appropriate:rotfl:

Any idea of what to do with a jar of redcurrant sauce?

It goes really well with roast lamb, or you can use it in place of cranberry sauce with Turkey or chicken. DH can't have cranberries so we buy redcurrant instead.

Are you taking Rennies for heartburn?

I used to get through loads of them (you'd think I had shares in the company) until I saw the doctor about it. I now take 1 Omeprazole a day and I can eat anything and not get heartburn.

No it was trapped wind, which is gone now thankfully but flares up every so often and is extremely painful

I'd echo LL's advice. I went to the docs. Omeprazole doesn't work for me (makes me sick) but I get ranitidine. Which you can buy in the shops, but mine is stronger so prescription only. When i'm on 15-20 tablets a day I simply NEED the ranitidine.... Or when i've been very bad on my diet :rotfl: Ignore this, I see you replied while I was posting this, lol.

Today i'm baking for the kids!! (Note to self.... Don't eat the cake mix ;) ). But i'm still feeling good and positive. Sooo, meal plan for today is going to be:

Breakfast: Cereal (Healthy A and B)
Lunch: Grilled chicken, new potatoes, egg whites, beetroot and pickles
    Tea: Jacket potatoes and beans

Snacks: Oranges, grapes, apple.... Not sure on syns yet. Will see what takes my fancy

    Have a good day everyone!

I think what will be key is actually forcing myself to walk on lunch breaks at work - not just take the car because it means I can go further (often the stores within walking distance are much, much cheaper in fact so taking the car is entirely habitual) and also going for walks on my days off if I am not going to rugby/to visit parents etc - even if it's just bundling wonder bairn up and going for a brisk walk after lunch for some fresh air. hen she's older that will become walks to the park I'm sure!
