  • Hi all!

Feeling much more in control today, I do enjoy EE but will plan a EESP day for tomorrow as well. That way I will have done 2 EESP in one week and hopefully I'll get off my gain I had this week and hopefully a bit more!

Got tested for diabetes today, that was a bit of a shock but my sugar levels were fine.. Given me a wee jolt actually!

That is some cake durham mini!

I'm off home to have some sort of bacon, fried egg, spinach, onion and fried potato concoction that I've been sat here deciding upon for the last half hour.

I really am a sad little individual :rotfl:

Only question now is do I have Peppa Pig Spagetti Shapes with it or Scooby Do :rotfl:or any at all since that might be carb saturation!

No I normally wear my trousers under my stomach so not really sure if there is enough fat round my waist to ever fit into them.

What I have started to notice of late, is how much more I am feeling the cold. I get it is freezing outside but when i used to walk to work in the winter, it'd be coat and t-shirt, and within a few mins I'd be sweating.

Now I wear jumper, coat, gloves and hat and freeze all the way to work. I'm the same at home, I used to whinge it was too warm all the time, now I'm freezing.

I hope it's because of the lack of body fat, rather than some other illness. Hopefully I'll get the benefit in Florida.

I am always cold (apart from at mums she got central heating on nearly all year round) but have been feeling colder since I lost weight. Also sitting is uncomfortable :( now I have lost the padding off my arsenal .

    Enjoy your holiday in Florida.

I'm exactly the same mildredd. I used to literally keep a tally of syns on a notepad but not any more. I suppose it's easy to work out multiples of 25.5 syns!:rotfl: Like you I know that I have things I could rein back if I needed to like careful noting of syns, measuring HEXs etc. Some things I still do like a meal plan but that's as much for mse purposes as SW. I would just say that I do this because I'm at target. It's really worth being strict with yourself until you get there.

That's what I'm taking from it too b.e.g. EE is a healthy, 'normal' way of eating, EESP isn't IMO, it's far more like a diet.

Over the last week I have started writing a journal of all the food that passes my lips. I just thought that it might keep a track of things and if I am plateauing (sp) I might be able to find a reason rather than just throwing a strop at DH when I get back home on a Monday night. Have also started the Doodle Diary today - well it is Monday. ;) I know there is the Diary Planner thing online but if I start going on the laptop I get sidetracked doing other stuff and stuff that needs doing doesn't get done. :o We'll see how it goes.

DH is making a steak pie (pastry top only) for dinner tonight when I get back from wi. I was quite low on syns yesterday and today so far I have only had 1.5. Will have hexa and hexb any time soon (ryvitas and cheese) and then when I have the pie, new pots and veggies when I come in around 9pm I wont need anything else before bed. Have worked out flour and fat for syns and divided it into three portions and it works out at around 10 syns per portion so that's not too bad. It is such a long time since I have had pastry.

We were told the opposite! that it was a good way to get started, give a boost etc.:rotfl:

Not best pleased when I logged on to the site and it said that it's busy in the evening with people looking up syn values so there might be a problem!!! So, do something about it, spend some of that fortune you're making on a decent website!! And while you're at it ask members what they need! Now that's a novel idea!!;)

I had problems last Monday night Maman and thought it was something I was doing wrong.

My son is physics mad. It has a cream cheese and white chocolate topping and popping candy in between each layer and I have a couple of sparklers for the top :D

Nom Nom durham. A slice of that cake would just finish off my pie supper so you can send me a slice if you like. ;). Enjoy all the celebrations.

Hello all, haven't read back much yet but just popping in to report

    - 4.5 lbs here too (snap fluff!) :j

I'm truly chuffed with that because I've upped exercise and it was hard work this week to keep to plan. I did over-syn again but because I have a lot to shift, I guess I'm getting away with it for the time being.

Good luck to all and get well soon to the poorlies.
