Also had a good giggle I saw what I thought were funny shaped bras, but when I looked at the label they were Bum enhancers, like a padded bra but for your bum, who on earth would need them every woman I have ever met is usually trying to lose a bit.

Hi ladies
Well I've rejoined - I've gained 8lb since stopping back in September but am not quite up to the weight I was when I started last July! I am a bridesmaid in a bodycon dress on March 7th so need to do some fast slimming down, haha!
So far have had 3 x brazil nuts (3 syns), scrambled egg, cappuccino (HEa1) Fruit and Fibre (HEb1) with fat free yoghurt, banana, apple, plum, hm tomato and bean soup, 1 WW 50/50 pitta spread (HEb2) with philly lightest (HEa2). Still got a tangerine, Activia 0% and mushy pea curry for my tea! LOADS of water too.
Not going to group as I can't afford it but I nearly always do green days.
Good luck everyone xx0 -

Good productive work on the Flebay stuff & charity shop Blue Eyed Girl, proud of you. Ashamed to say that my pile of has beens is still sitting in the hall. You put me to shame! I use one of those wire mesh trays as well for my chips and it works much better, I haven’t made SW chips in so long mind you. [/SIZE]
:rotfl::rotfl: lantanna - just had a bid in but sadly it was something I was selling on DS's behalf - never mind we still have the rest of the week to go.greentiger wrote: »Good Morning!
Well, it's a 1lb off for me this week. The tortoise is moving in the right direction again!
Definitely heading in the right direction greentiger :TPops in
It was me with the non measuring of milk!
I have a handful of things I can cut back I once I get near target should I need to.
Today's news is I spent 2hours in the walk in centre - I have septic tonsillitis :@ 10days worth of antibiotics :@ I feel wiped
I'm another who is confessing to not measuring milk. I very very rarely have it in coffee, never in tea and am always well below my allowance anyway. When things start to really slow up then I will start measuring. Always measure cheese though
Hope the meds kick in soon and you start to feel much better very soon Mildredd.

Now I wear jumper, coat, gloves and hat and freeze all the way to work. I'm the same at home, I used to whinge it was too warm all the time, now I'm freezing.
I hope it's because of the lack of body fat, rather than some other illness. Hopefully I'll get the benefit in Florida.
I haven't noticed any big changes of feeling the cold - I have always disliked extremes of very hot or very cold. My DS did Lighter Life (I know he had to learn the errors of his ways hard way) and he never really complained of feeling cold but he just couldn't seem to get warm.
Will you be at your target by the time you go off to Florida?

Hiya
Hope you're all managing to stay warm in the freezing conditions I'm hearing about. Its cloudy and cold here today too, but not as cold as the UK.
I've got a pot of soup bubbling away at the moment but just realised I forgot the lentils! Never mind, I've got some butter beans to beef it up a bit.
There are some good weight losses being reported in, well done everyone. :T
Have a good day.

. Just out of interest, our consultant has said very little about EESP.
Off to have ham salad, boiled egg, cottage cheese with probably fruit after.

Our consultant has been a bit light on details, she tells us things that are wrong, like as long as the yoghurt has a syn value, then you can have it. She said Fruitopolis ones, but I think this is incorrect, as it contains a lot of previously free food you are not allowed.
I think they don't say much because they fundamentally don't know the answer. We just get lots of vague anecdotes that one woman in another town in the other group lost 6lbs. Yet the evidence from our own group is its at best no more successful.
We were told you're not supposed to do it in the first week though.
I'm just carb aware and always have been, tonight I'll be having a very small baked potato, not as many as I like (as I was told when I joined).0 -
Sw is a plan for life and 'normal' people have weeks where they gain and eat more naughty food it's life - draw a line and try again is all normal none weight challenged people do and that's what we are ultimately striving to become?? I Was mortified the first few times I gained but now I think I enjoyed it I had a normal life and it'll soon be gone within a couple of weeks - I think sw messes with your mindset quite a bit tbh x I was obsessive about counting syns at one point now I have q vague count going on
I'm exactly the same mildredd. I used to literally keep a tally of syns on a notepad but not any more. I suppose it's easy to work out multiples of 25.5 syns!:rotfl: Like you I know that I have things I could rein back if I needed to like careful noting of syns, measuring HEXs etc. Some things I still do like a meal plan but that's as much for mse purposes as SW. I would just say that I do this because I'm at target. It's really worth being strict with yourself until you get there.
Hope you start to perk up as soon as antibiotics kick in.:Ablue_eyed_girl wrote: »On the EE/EESP debate jock - EE has worked well for me so far - over 5st 9lbs in just under nine months. That's what I'm taking from it too b.e.g. EE is a healthy, 'normal' way of eating, EESP isn't IMO, it's far more like a diet.lilian1977 wrote: »Hi ladies

:wave:Lillian. As you want to lose for a specific date you might be a good candidate for EESP. As you like Green, you don't need to eat meat, pulses and eggs are protein so they'd be fine. Looking at your meal plan for today, it's just that yogurt and bananas aren't 'allowed' on SP and only 1 HEA. Then you need to get your protein and Speed (used to be Superfree) balanced 50:50. Scrambled egg and fruits, bean and tomato soup sound OK but not sure of ingredients of curry. That might need more Speed food or fruit afterwards. It might be worth doing a week of it between now and the wedding. Just a thought, as you're not going to group you may not know about the 'new' plan.
My EE plan for the day:
B: NAS Ribena, 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast
L/D: Szechuan beef (peppers, benasprouts, mushrooms, carrot, spring onions) with noodles
Syns: scrape of spread, maybe 2 for noodles and bare tsp (shared) of cornflour.
We're having our dinner early/lunch late because of commitments. If I'm hungry later may make a JP or something else SW friendly.0 -

We were told the opposite! that it was a good way to get started, give a boost etc.:rotfl:
Not best pleased when I logged on to the site and it said that it's busy in the evening with people looking up syn values so there might be a problem!!! So, do something about it, spend some of that fortune you're making on a decent website!! And while you're at it ask members what they need! Now that's a novel idea!!;)0 -
