Good day yesterday and today was going well until about an hour ago. DD found a tin of chocolates left over from Xmas and I ate TEN!!! Just proves that if the stuff isn't in the house you don't eat it. Valuable lesson learned and will now only eat a couple of satsumas for my tea ... And maybe a bit of quark.

Back on te straight and narrow tomorrow.
  • Those pics look fab tweets and will give it a go when we next have a cauli. That would be a good one for an SP I think.

We had Mac n Cheese that was in one of the little books that came free with the Mirror newspaper last week Extra Easy Comfort Food. I kept calling it macaroni cheese and DH refused to call it macaroni cheese but said it was a lovely cheesy tomatoey pasta. We replaced the yoghurt with quark and there was two Hexas of cheese for half the recipe so thats a hexa each. Quite tasty and will definitely be having it again.

Tracked down the recipe for the Hairy Bikers healthy lasagne (using leeks instead of lasagne) - I have been wanting to give this one a go. Will report back if and when we get around to it.

Managed some stitching tonight which has been a blessing as it has kept my fingers busy :D. Still got some overnight oats to have and I think that some choccie syns will be in order. ;) Supposed to be watching a film with DH - haven't got a clue what it is about as I am on lappy. :o He has just brought me a glass of sparkly water with a slice of lemon in (at my request) and he got himself a g & t. I told him to measure how much gin he had in in glass and it turned out it was a generous double measure. I'd better watch out if he ever pours me one - only really have one once in a blue moon (rather eat food than drink alcohol :D).

Just wait until you get to target and see how you feel them. Wearing skirts and dresses and experimenting with colours has all happened for me since starting SW. If you're not happy with showing your legs, try opaque tights and/or knee length boots.

Beautiful dress maman and size 8:T:T

When I get to target i'd like to wear dresses and skirts.. although totally out of my comfort zone. My dream outfit is just a pair of jeans and skinny fit t-shirt with either some lovely knee high boots or nice wedges!
:eek::eek: I adore hash browns!! I think it's cos I'm veggie so they are the only real special part of a cooked breakfast that I get to eat :rotfl:

I like the idea of hash browns more than I like the taste I think.. weird I know :rotfl:

Thank b_e_g, I need to plan better I think and really focus!

I have booked a 'wardrobe review' at John Lewis next month and I want to make sure I am comfortably into the next size, at the moment I'm still a bit pinched. Maybe I'll find a nice purple coat!!

Ohh this sounds good, must have a google of it. Do you have to pay?

I think it sometimes helps having someone to pick out "different" sort of clothes that you wouldn't normally pick..

Ive had the lasagne before, hubby made it. I enjoyed it but both hubby and son said it was too sloppy. Seemed fine to me.

Purple! Did someone mention I liked Purple? Not half :D, think I'm obsessed :o. I wear purple trousers, top and jumper for work. My coat and gloves are purple. I have purple watch strap, purple earrings, purple necklace and my fringe is purple. We also have a purple toilet seat :rotfl:. See !! Obssessed :o Think I need to see someone about it, don't you?
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

    That sounds amazing!

When my son got married I booked an appointment with the personal shopper at Debenhams and it was really useful. She asked me a few questions about what sort of outfit I had in mind and my size and then went round the store gathering a rail full of different outfits for me to choose from.

Debenhams don't charge for the service and you're not obliged to buy anything, but I guess most people do, as I did.

Had to share I bought the most comfortable knickers I have ever had they are called ultimate comfort and they really are. Not expensive at 3 for £5 in Primark. only got the one pack to try but will deffinetly stock up on these. if they wash OK.

Also had a good giggle I saw what I thought were funny shaped bras, but when I looked at the label they were Bum enhancers, like a padded bra but for your bum, who on earth would need them every woman I have ever met is usually trying to lose a bit.

I had a gluttonous day today:o Too many off plans things to mention :o So tomorrow I am back healthy eating and exercising with a vengeance!

Maman that dress looks lovely and well done for getting down to an 8. I am a very curvy 14 and always wear skirts and dresses so if I ever get trim at again I will step out in skinny jeans and a tight t-shirt!

Hi all, done SW years ago, thinking of doing it again but not classes. Has anything changed majorly? EE had just been introduced when I left.
