    Afternoon all:hello:

Hope everyone's day is going well? Am getting back into the EESP frame of mind so having to think things through as I go. Plan so far:

B: cereal (HEB1) and milk (HEA)
L: sw kebab meat and roasted veg leftovers with wholemeal toast (HEB 2) and beans
D: roast chicken with veg (no roasties)

Syns to be decided. Am out tonight so may look for some low syn easy picky ideas to take with me

I would normally take grapes but they're off plan for EESP. May take an apple and satsuma instead but will look for some cheeky treats instead

You've loads of syns left for treats tonight but satsumas are very easy to eat when you're out too.

    My EE plan for today:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB porage, HEA milk
L: I'm thinking another veggie omelette as I so enjoyed the one I had the other day
D: roast beef, carrot and swede mash, cabbage, red cabbage and a few roast potatoes
    Syns: weekend wine:), gravy

I meant to say that always use frozen leeks for adding to soups and casseroles. They're 59p a bag (80p per kg) in Farmfoods so good value with no prepping or waste.

b.e.g., I've only managed one full day of EESP as I'm only experimenting with it but I've had lots of SP meals. You're right it's diluting the effect but I'm sure it's better than full EE. What it's doing for me is making me more mindful of whether I need carbs and/or how many each day. I'm enjoying the challenge of making satisfying meals without them when I can.

Dress is almost exactly like this but mine's purple and I paid less than half price.

Definitely makes you think about what to eat Maman (EESP)
and maybe helps if we have become complacement and stuck in a rut with EE. I usually used my hexs for supper - porridge and milk, prunes, crackers, cheese toms olives or a sarnie - that sort of thing but have just become so bored I need to be more inventive. That's probably why, when I found out I shouldn't be having Overnight Oats, I got into a strop :o. EESP has definitely made me more carb aware and trying to reduce even on EE days - hence half plate of chicken egg fried rice and half plate mixed salad (didn't even have dressing on salad :p). Saving syns for more choccie or the like for tonight.

Wow Maman your dress looks gorgeous and I bet you will look a million dollars at wedding. We are probably going to be invited to wedding in August and I keep wondering what size I will need by then. Whatever the outfit - it will have to cover arm tops, legs and not reveal too much frontage :rotfl:

Had a little sneaky wi this morning ahead of tomorrow night and it has shown a loss but think it might be a false reading because of little eating and no hexs yesterday. Back to normal eating and no strops (promise).

Keep having snow flurries here but it doesn't appear to be hanging around for too long. Just hope it doesn't freeze tonight.

    Stay safe and warm everyone.

PS The flurries have just got heavier

    Hello :hello:

Weigh in day for me and disappointingly I have STS for the challenge please Shala.
I thought I'd been quite good but not good enough. Maybe I will focus on the EESP for the next week and see if that makes a difference, I am thinking that at least I didn't actually put weight on!!

I'd keep the cauli in whole pieces myself. I used to do a SW recipe that had cottage cheese mixed with eggs and it was quite tasty. It was in the old days when corned beef was free food on the red plan and the recipe consisted of corned beef and onions with the cottage cheese and egg mixture on top.

Tweets - I understand your concern with the dog, but slow cookers are very safe. I've never heard of anyone having a fire that started with one. I wouldn't be without mine.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

    LL:)

Eta: why is almond milk so popular? Is there an advantage to using it on SW?

I was thinking about this last night keeping florets whole because if I mashed it cottage cheese egg mixture would soak in :rotfl::rotfl:

Sorry still don't think I would use a slow cooker if I had one.

Don't know about almond milk sounds yuk to me I don't like nuts.

Snow awful here main roads are clear but side streets are  it keeps having heavy snow showers.

    Hi all

Well done to everyone who has lost over the weekend.

My weekend has been a bit bleuch. Antibiotics have started working but feeling so tired and not feeling that hungry even though my stomach finally appears to have sorted itself out. Not really doing sw again yet as still a bit nervous to try fruit, however I will have a bowl of mixed berries tonight after tea if I feel like it.

Have made a pan of leek and potato soup for lunches during the weekand also have a chicken and chorizo stew in the slow cooker at the moment which will be a weekday meal but probably frozen initially as I am waiting to see how my stomach is before having spicy.

Coutingpennies - it was Pizza Hut you worked at wasn't it? do you ever see any of your SW class members in there? i bet they're mortified when you see them :rotfl: it would put me off visiting or ordering salad instead of pizza so well done on helping them all lose weight ;):T

I don't see anyone from my group.... Maybe its because I told them where I worked so they stopped going :rotfl:

Maman that dress is beautiful! Well done on the size! :T

Thanks. It's tie's favourite too. I already have purple suede heels and a purple velvet coat so needed something to match and keep the costs down a bit so I'm delighted.:) I'll need to keep right down in my target range though to make sure it fits. Good incentive.;)
