Afternoon All,
My goodness, it's flippin' cold here! I felt compelled to do the ironing mountain to warm me up, all done now.
I made some soup this morning, seems like the right weather to have it. I used carrots, red lentils, and a handful of wrinkly potatoes, tasted quite lively, there was chilli and cumin in too. Even husband said it was nice, and he's not fond of carrot.
Well done to everyone on some fab losses this week, you're all very inspiring! Keep the faith, all the STSs and don't give up to anyone who has gained. These are temporary glitches and we'll all be wafting around in a slender, glam fashion by summer!
I managed a 1lb loss this week, I could do better, but I confess I'm only following the plan in a loose sort of fashion, I'm calling choc w@@tabix a HEX when it's 8 syns, I'll be able to get away with it for a while I expect, as I've so much to lose, but I'll have to play by the rules soon if I want to keep losing weight.
Have a good weekend all, stay safe and warm X0 -

was so surprised had to get on scales twice to make sure :rotfl:. Don't really feel like I've lost though, tummy quite bloated as have usual weekend 'issues'
. Doubled up on meds today to try and help. Now off to sainsbugs to do what was going to do last night, maybe tricky as son wants to come with us. Catch you all later, have a good weekend and keep the faith all :A
Oh well done TIE on your loss :T - so pleased for you. Hope your trip to Sainsbugs was successful and that your tummy is feeling a bit easier today.I did go out in the end last night. I somehow drank about 45 synsAs long as I stick to a maximum of 10 per day for the rest of the week though hopefully I should be fine. I must say that I'm feeling more than a little delicate today though, which isn't making it too easy to stick to plan - I'm perservering so far though!
Fingers crossed if you stick to plan you will be able to pull it back before weigh in blinkered. Hope the after effects of your night out dont hang around too long today.Brilliant loss well done, I had a sneaky weigh on my own scales and think I have lost the 2lb gainbut wont celebrate until WI official on Tueseday.
That would be great meg so we will all keep our fingers and toes crossed for you so that you get a good result on Tuesday. There's a thought - crossed fingers might make it more difficult to stuff our faces :rotfl:
Oh well the listings have been scheduled on fleabay to start tomorrow night :j but it seems to take me so long as I am so out of practice that it takes ages and I feel so lethargic sitting for so long at the laptop. Cba to do anything else now. Don't think I could make a living at selling stuff on the auction sites.
Just having a cuppa and a couple of satsumas.
My menu has been changed thanks to DH - he has removed my SW roasties and replaced them with more veggies so that I can have an SP day and get extra hexs. How kind - he does mean well but I was fancying a couple of roasties :rotfl::rotfl:
We have had quite a good day today here weatherwise. When we came in last night around 10pm there was a bloomin blizzard going on and it looked as though it was going to be well and truly set in but thankfully what snow that was lying around has now melted.

A 1lb is good Gone South but if I were you I think I would be finding a replacement for the Choc W'bix - 8 syns . That's a huge chunk of your daily syn allowance. Good luck for the coming week.

Hi guys! May I join in here?
Currently on week 3 and had a bold weekend this week, going to WI tomorrow morning so I can assess the damage of this weekend! My only saving grace is I didn't have any alcohol so trying to take everything with a pinch of salt!
I'm trying to work out 3 times a week as well, but as they say, you can't outrun a bad diet!!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

GoneSouth can I ask you a question please ?
Did you just throw the red lentils in soup or cook lentils first ?
When I made soup last week I threw lentils in and the seem to vanish didn't swell like I thought lentils did.
So night after I cooked lentils first for second half of soup. Did what packet said was sat here waiting for them to be ready and smelt burning  When I went into kitchen lentils where black in pan with no water:rotfl::rotfl: Luckily I managed to get my pan clean :T:T
I have never cooked with lentils before0 -
Well done to everyone losing , sts and sorry if you have put on you will lose it next week0

I know! LOL, but I do like it! In my strange way of thinking, I tell myself I've already had chocolate, so I therefore don't need anymore! It doesn't always work! X0 -

Welcome to our madhouse tatabubbly :hello: Whatever the wi reveals just get a big line drawn and move on from it. That is what most of us here would probably recommend. Keep popping in and let us know how you are getting on - there is usually someone who won't be too far away to answer any questions you may have. You can post your menus if you like and if anyone can see where anything may be improved they will make little suggestions to keep you on the straight and narrow. The first few posts of thread of loads of useful stuff too if you have time to look through. Good luck for your wi - you might get a pleasant surprise.

DH usually says that I could use milk chocolate as part of my hexa milk allowance but I have tried to tell him that things don't work like that unfortunately - if only they did.
