Dear only knows re the tinned sweetcorn! Not heard that one before. I always take everything out of the tin and give it a good rinse before using. I've discovered tinned mushrooms and have converted to those they re probably bad as well! !:rotfl:
I'm glad my knickers are such cause of amusement you lot!!
I have gotten better though, I'm down to size 16's now all the 18s and 20s are gone to bloomer heaven. Still wrong when my derriere is a size 10 but eventually the remaining buckets will be evicted! BEG be ruthless start evicting now or you ll end up like me!!
I find it hard to buy knickers I like, I need something to keep the belly in and don't like a thong but want something half decent looking.............seems impossible M&S used to do good ones but the selection is not as good as they were.
Shala - Having a similar week to you, been good, no weekend alcohol and been to the gym 3 times and looks like I'm heading for a sts or small gain.
Mrs Ryan - Good to see you, have you changed your target? Your menu looks good for yesterday
Meg - Hows the dating going? Are you still in target range and collecting your fivers?0 -
You lot can arf natter! Had 3 pages of knicker talk to catch up on! I remember my nan wearing those huge bloomers - they had all sorts of names - passion killers, harvest festival knickers, big bloomers!
I also remember the '60s tigher fitting bloomers (and even wore them!) what on earth were we thinking about - did we really want to be like our nans, LOL!
I'm one who prefers bikini knickers so that they fit under the belly rather than on or over! My DH still reckons they're too big!
Having an EE day today:
B - porridge made with water, Mullerlight, satsuma
L - SW quiche & salad with balsamic vinegar dressing
D - HM chicken curry & rice
HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
HEB - porridge
Not sure about syns today but think I'll probably use some for some whisky, honey & hot water before I go to bed!
Really need to get to Dr to get some antiBs as the fluey thing I've got has gone to my chest and I've got a chest infection but can't get an appointment this morning. Will try again this afternoon and if I can't get one then I'll go to the Dr's at the local minor injury unit (can't go during the day as I've got no car today).

Scrap yesterdays plan! Been called into work early (in an hour) but I've talked them into a 90 minute break for doing so, meaning I can come home at 5 for an hour, so gonna get DH to put some jackets in the oven for me coming in and I'll have tea with the kids! :T:T
Plan now is:
Breakfast: Large ham omelette (gonna make it now)
Tea: Jacket potato with beans
Supper: Cereal (HEA and HEB)
Snacks (if i get a chance) will be fruit and maybe some toast or choclate. Will see how the day goes.
Have a good day all. Wish me luck!

Trying not to feel disappointed because I normally lose more than that. I did the EESP this week as a trial, but since I normally eat very low carb version of SW original plan, I think it was too much of a change for me.
It was nice for a change though!
.
Well done, 1/2 a pound is better than none.
(Tweets - you misread it!)
I'm guessing you added carbs you wouldn't normally eat as HEBs?

Good Morning
retiredlady losing 5lb is brilliant :j:j don't be disappointed.
Go and find something weighing 5lb and that's what you have lost
My mistake I should gave put that 0 in front of the decimal point! I've edited it now. When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -

No, I normally use fats for my HEB. I'm pretty sure it's the fruit, it's high in sugar and sugar equals carbs and carbs make me fat:rotfl:When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -
Hi everyone, managed a 1lb loss this week
) quite happy with that but really going to get stuck in this week. I have two and half stone to lose by June (DS1 graduates then and I'm not planning to be the fat mammy in the photos!!).
Just skimmed a couple of posts and see there's much talk of knickers. A subject close to my heart at the moment as I'm another M & S fan who is totally fed up with their current selection.
Anyway take care all, away to read back and catch up x0 -
Morning all! I hope everyone's ok. I'm on my way to London with work, but have brought plenty of fruit with me to try and avoid biscuit temptation. Here's the plan:
Breakfast: mango, melon, pineapple, mullerlight.
Lunch - Ham salad wrap (8 syns), banana, 2 plums
Dinner - spinach and cottage cheese cannelloni topped with mozzarella (Hea)
Snacks - Clementines, 2 oat muffins (heb and 3.5 syns)
Hmm, that comes to 11.5 syns so maybe I can have one biscuit after all!0 -
I would just like to apologise on everyone's behalf to the men reading this thread... we don't always just talk about undergarments!!Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0
