Well, I would NOT wear a thong I may as well have none on:o
I like my navel to be covered, I once bought some scanty briefs but I felt like they were coming down so I had to keep pulling them up to my belly button.
No, it's a normal pair of briefs with tummy control like Sloggi
    Perfect :D:D:rotfl::rotfl:

I'm with you wiz - I'll be sticking with the Sloggi looki-likies :D

Wetherspoons probably easier to manage, I ate in there the other day, think I ended up with a Chicken Caesar Salad, but if you're on expenses maybe a steak with salad? There are calories next to everything as well, so at least some form of a guide

I agree with you jock that the calories could be used as a bit of a guideline.

Maman - I agree with you about SW, didn't think it needed more than very minor tweaks.

Lantanna - My fresh pasta says 'durum wheat, eggs, water'. Puzzled now.. :undecided

BEG - There is definitely no nights of passion forecast or on the horizon lol. Unless Jeffrey Dean Morgan arrives at my door!

Its a nightmare going down through the sizes in everything but you'll be happy at the end. I didn't spend too much on the way down and bought trousers etc for work out of Primark. I've now managed to build up a half decent wardrobe but it has taken ages!! Knickers def next on the list to get decent supplies built up!
  • How is this week moving so fast?! I am expecting a STS in the morning; not the best of weeks. Bf is away at the weekend so I will be zumba-ing and sticking to plan as much as possible (as a bit of decorating I think maybe).

I am going to sit down and decide on 4 different filling, no syn lunches which I can do for work each week (on work Tues-Fri since coming back after maternity leave) so that planning is more just a case of preparing whats already been decided on. I'll then change the four things up each 4-6weeks. So far I'm thinking; soup, pasta salad, jacket potato (and beans/tuna/cheese and side salad), frittata and salad (though I'd have to be much more prepared for that - if I make it Sunday will it be ok for lunch Tuesday??)

Wednesdays will be a bit funny from today onwards as we have a new training session launching which I will pretty much go to straight from work (so leave early, nip home to pick up wonder bairn and help load bf's car and straight back out) so not eating until at least 7.45/8pm. Not really prepared today but bf will likely have chippen nuggets and chips, I'll have a baked chicken breast (defrosted for yesterday but not used) and mash plus veggies. Will need to get some ideas together for Wednesdays. I'm thinking of making it a soup and toastie night (I'd have a free breakfast rather than a HeB choice to I could have a toastie too!) maybe. or using my slow cooker then splashing out on microwave rice or something so we could have chicken in sauce with rice in just a few minutes when we get home. Will have to think properly

Today hasn't been too bad for a change.

Hmm going to try and plan my next food shop asap as I get paid a week on Friday and I want to have my mind made up about what I'm buying and cooking to try and make meal times easier!

I've not had the Chicken Ceaser Salad there before - I may try it.

Do you think that I'll be within my syns?

Just had a look at the menu (I'm bored), seems quite good for slimming I think.

What about salmon fillet, spud & side salad 787 cal

Skinny Chicken burger with salad 480 kcal

    Steak with salad

Chicken Caesar Salad is 408 kcals which is good

    Chicken pasta 600 kcals

5 bean chilli with rice around 500 cals

Loads of Jacket spuds for around 500 cals with filling like chili, tuna etc

You could always ask for the dressing to be put in a pot then you can control how much you have of it ;)
You know your getting old when you
go to the pub sit outside
and admire the hanging basket
    Is officially 48% tight :D
  • Can't keep track of who's said what on the knicker debate, but I like big pants. Mine don't quite come up to my belly button, but I have a few pairs that don't come over my belly roll and I only wear them when I have no others clean. I'm an m+s full brief girl.

Talking of inappropriate convos, I had a lentil curry last night and I was trumping like a good 'un on the treadmill this morning. I felt quite sorry for the other people at the gym. Need to consider more carefully my menus the night before my runs!

I've also been watching that which diet is right for you program, interesting to hear that there are actual reasons for people putting on weight, for years people have been claiming that and others have denied it. The gut thing is particularly interesting, I do find I get hungry again really quickly if I have a carb heavy meal.

Had a sneaky couple of vodka lime and sodas yesterday lunchtime. Felt very sugary, so think I'll revert to rum and diet coke next time for less syns. Menus:

    yesterday:
    b: porridge, apple cinnamon (heb.hea,3syns)
l: 2 x vodka lime and soda (??)massive salad w/ ham and eggs
d: lentil and courgette curry, aloo gobi, rice
s: alpen light bar (4 syns)

    today:
    pre breakfast: banana, ham
    b: porridge, apple cinnamon (heb.hea,3syns)
l: lentil and courgette curry, aloo gobi, rice, 0% yoghurt
    d: nandos!

(Tweets - you misread it! :D)

I'm guessing you added carbs you wouldn't normally eat as HEBs?
