Busyish day today, not even sure when I'll have time for lunch, fortunately Campfire stew is slowly cooking in the oven and will just need to be served.
EE Menu:
B: Rice krispies & BD milk. Almond Coffee & BD milk.
L: Prawn noodles (5)Campfire stew & J.Pot.
S: 6 squares DF chocolate. Cocoa.
Got housegroup tonight so left a few syns free for a snack there.
Its shopping day but I've also got my first massage of this year this afternoon,(really looking forward to) so quite a bit to fit in for me.
Love the talk about bloomers/knickers, even tried them myself once in the past. They're lovely and warm but very healthy too IYSWM. I have now reverted back to and enjoying, smaller, lacier and much more attractive underwear
Lantanna, how do you manage to keep size 16's up when you're only a 10. My DD (size 10) once got a pair of my pants(when I was a size 16-18) from the wash pile by mistake and they dropped straight off her:rotfl:Weight loss 0/2st

They don't lol, they kind of get held in by my trousers. I do have 10's just the odd 16 etc infiltrates the pile :rotfl:0

-1LB for me. Yay!really pleased with that. Off out to lunch at a patisserie with my girlfriends so heaven knows what I'll be having but I will try to pick wisely.
Thick snow on pavements here but all the roads seem clear can't wait to get home, put heating on and sit out tonight's forcast Storm.0 -
Yaaaaaaay! Thanks for SOTW Shala!!!!
Some reason I'm not allowed to quote at the moment without it thinking i'm posting a link... hmmmm
But I'd like to thank my belly for being so big and allowing me to lose 8.5lb of it!
Thanks Everyone!0 -
Well, I would NOT wear a thong I may as well have none on:o
I like my navel to be covered, I once bought some scanty briefs but I felt like they were coming down so I had to keep pulling them up to my belly button.
No, it's a normal pair of briefs with tummy control like Sloggi
Perfect:rotfl::rotfl:

On a more positive note, I joined a gym yesterday and had my induction. I was abit worried that I wouldn't be able to do it but I went on all the machines and did them all! And I wasn't the biggest person there which is very unusual for me! The funny thing is that when I left the gym I felt more energised/less tired. I even stayed up later than usual because I wasn't tired. My membership starts next Monday and I've signed up for a 6 week trial. It's a ladies only gym which made me feel more comfortable also.
Well done on your loss retiredlady and well done on joining the gym. A couple of years ago I had a gym membership and it was a case of dreading going, but when I was driving home I always felt good and chuffed that I had made the effort. But all of a sudden I got to the point that I absolutely hated going (just felt like that out of the blue and for no apparent reason) and thought why put myself through it if that is how I felt. Haven't got around to doing much in the way of Body Magic other than housework and gardening (weather permitting).jockosjungle wrote: »Can you put me down for 0.5lb Loss
Not great but about what I deserved, I suppose all the overeating this week has given me some pointers to how to maintain if I ever reach target.
I'm also realising that little treats aren't really the way for me, quite easy to eat the allowed 5 celebrations (10 syns) and then a few more and then some more, whereas if I'd just eaten something larger like a Crunchie (9 syns) I wouldn't likely go and eat another one. But it's a theory I'm not about to test too much, or I'll be back next week saying I ate a pack of crunchies.
Yesterday I stuck to plan perfectly, I took my chocolate syns to group and then ate nothing when I got home, my scales are 2lbs lighter since yesterday. So I'm going to give the plan a good go this week I think or try to.
I'm thinking about giving blood tomorrow, that'll be a pound lost! I'd assume there were some benefits to weight loss, burning calories to replenish your stocks.
Well done on your loss jock. Hope you are back in the zone soon. I understand what you say about having little treats as opposed to a bar of something instead and I am inclined to agree with you. I'm a blood donor and I'm afraid I haven't noticed any great losses following donation - it's a great thought though. Oh I might make it to Heron foods this afternoon so must remember to call in and check out the Mullers and Danone 0%.
Dear only knows re the tinned sweetcorn! Not heard that one before. I always take everything out of the tin and give it a good rinse before using. I've discovered tinned mushrooms and have converted to those they re probably bad as well! !:rotfl:
I'm glad my knickers are such cause of amusement you lot!!
I have gotten better though, I'm down to size 16's now all the 18s and 20s are gone to bloomer heaven. Still wrong when my derriere is a size 10 but eventually the remaining buckets will be evicted! BEG be ruthless start evicting now or you ll end up like me!!
I find it hard to buy knickers I like, I need something to keep the belly in and don't like a thong but want something half decent looking.............seems impossible M&S used to do good ones but the selection is not as good as they were.
Well lantanna my biggies are a 24  and I could probably do with an 18 now so there is a bit of an issue going on as you can imagine. :rotfl::rotfl: The last ones I got were M&S they are a bit like Sloggi (with lycra) and they do hold their shape well and got then on 3 for 2 and 20% off. They aren't what you would wear if you had a night of passion in mind :rotfl:

A challenge for you.... I'm working away and have 3 syns left for the day, I also need to eat out. I have a weatherspoons nearby and an Indian. What can I have for tea? :-)0
-
Wetherspoons probably easier to manage, I ate in there the other day, think I ended up with a Chicken Caesar Salad, but if you're on expenses maybe a steak with salad? There are calories next to everything as well, so at least some form of a guide0

I've not had the Chicken Ceaser Salad there before - I may try it.
Do you think that I'll be within my syns?0 -
Hi everyone, managed a 1lb loss this week
) quite happy with that but really going to get stuck in this week. I have two and half stone to lose by June (DS1 graduates then and I'm not planning to be the fat mammy in the photos!!).
Just skimmed a couple of posts and see there's much talk of knickers. A subject close to my heart at the moment as I'm another M & S fan who is totally fed up with their current selection.
Anyway take care all, away to read back and catch up xShala - Checking in with a -1lb for this week.
Congrats to all the losers, some impressive losses this weekMatron_Midge wrote: »-1LB for me. Yay!really pleased with that. Off out to lunch at a patisserie with my girlfriends so heaven knows what I'll be having but I will try to pick wisely.
