Really fed up today.. no sleep again :( and everyone's already moaning :(

Right i have to keep myself on track - a sneaky weigh in doesn't show a movement this week...

    EE day today
    B - banana, quark, choc shot 0.5syn?
    L - chicken (3) roll (heb) salad
T - fish, roasted veg, salad
    S - ryvita (5.5) nectarine, satsumas

Wonder what the topic of conversation will be today! ;)
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

Good Morning everyone. I lost 0.5 lbsthis week.
Trying not to feel disappointed because I normally lose more than that. I did the EESP this week as a trial, but since I normally eat very low carb version of SW original plan, I think it was too much of a change for me.
It was nice for a change though!

On a more positive note, I joined a gym yesterday and had my induction. I was abit worried that I wouldn't be able to do it but I went on all the machines and did them all! And I wasn't the biggest person there which is very unusual for me! The funny thing is that when I left the gym I felt more energised/less tired. I even stayed up later than usual because I wasn't tired. My membership starts next Monday and I've signed up for a 6 week trial. It's a ladies only gym which made me feel more comfortable also.
When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!

Morning all. I've opted for and EE today as it makes breakfast and leftovers-lunch easier at work. Not sure yey what dinner will be:

    B: large banana
L: leftover roast with a small amount of potato (2 for gravy)
    D: ?
Late snack: cereal (HEB) with milk (HEA)
Snacks during day: satsumas, milk in tea
    Some syns still to spend

After being dubious, I love the mental kick start that the EESP days gave me so I can see them appearing occassionally in my plans

Don't see why you couldn't have Stilton, I'd count it as 30g myself the same as cheddar or parmesan or any other hardish cheese.

As for the smoked fish debate, you cannot really apply any logic to SW and how it categories things. Why is fresh pasta worse than dried? Why are 12 raspberries and a banana free unless you blend them? Why is frozen sweetcorn ok but canned not?

Fresh pasta has oil in it to preserve it and keep it fresh - so I was told in group anyway :rotfl:

Just back from WI - 2lb loss to post this week :D I'm 0.5lb off my 4 stone shiny... just like I was 5 weeks ago...

A 2lb loss is good Crabapple - you are in good company ;). Good luck for that 4st shiney next week.

Congratulations to Daisy on getting SOTW :T. Fantastic losses this week - wow nearly 7st between us.

On the knicker front - mine are belly warmers. DH reckons they are that big I could probably pull them up under my armpits - he is exaggerating :o :rotfl: Was planning on sorting knicker drawer out this week and all this chat is urging me to get it done.

Right off to read a few more posts before I go out.

  • Can you put me down for 0.5lb Loss

Not great but about what I deserved, I suppose all the overeating this week has given me some pointers to how to maintain if I ever reach target.

I'm also realising that little treats aren't really the way for me, quite easy to eat the allowed 5 celebrations (10 syns) and then a few more and then some more, whereas if I'd just eaten something larger like a Crunchie (9 syns) I wouldn't likely go and eat another one. But it's a theory I'm not about to test too much, or I'll be back next week saying I ate a pack of crunchies.

Yesterday I stuck to plan perfectly, I took my chocolate syns to group and then ate nothing when I got home, my scales are 2lbs lighter since yesterday. So I'm going to give the plan a good go this week I think or try to.

I'm thinking about giving blood tomorrow, that'll be a pound lost! I'd assume there were some benefits to weight loss, burning calories to replenish your stocks.

We were told that tinned sweetcorn is bad because it sits in water and this contains lots of sugar.
  • Woohoo - first week totally on plan and I've lost 8 pounds!! I've moved the scales into 3 different places on the bathroom floor but it still shows the same. Over the moon and hope to keep it off fit the next week.
Hope you're all doing well :)
We say belly warmers here too! :rotfl:

Shala thanks for the chart. If you would like to add a loss of 3.5lb for me then it would be much appreciated!!! :j:j:j

Just got back from image therapy. Very happy with that. Motivated to write my meal plan out for the week now, as long as no one else gets the bug and messes up my plans! ;)

    Tomorrow however will be:

Brunch: Plenty Bacon, egg, beans and toast (bread syns)
Break at work: Cereal (HEA and HEB)
Supper (working late): Not sure yet, but probably beans and toast or something filling, but not too heavy on my stomach.

Snacks/Syns: Made up of bread and fruit.

So tomorrow is gonna be a hard day, but I WILL get through it. I need to learn.

Wow, that is amazing and unbelievable!!!!!! Well done!

I am here to report 1.5lb loss. I wasn't on plan every day or stricktly, so I am happy to be here. Need to get 'back on the horse' again, but just finding it rather harder than I thought after holidays.

I did one thing though - I signed up for Aquazumba together with the childminder my children used to go, and tonight was the first time. I never thought it would be so hard to 'dance' in the water!!!!!

    Fab losses peoples :T

Plus 2 for me at class this week. It was expected really. Hopefully I can move in the right direction this week.

I am slowly getting back into the swing of things/being into routine etc but it is taking a while!!
