I knew I was being diddled out of my almonds (hexb). In our old books I was allowed 20 almonds, shelled and whole and in the new book I only get 16  what a bloomin cheek
Sorry I haven't been able to catch up tonight but I have noticed some fab losses (well done you losers :T).
Going to settle down now to watch this Dr Christian diet programme - how long will it be before I start shouting at the tv. Recording the other Horizon programme but might be too tired to watch it tonight.

Thanks for all your hard work on the chart Shala, and well done to all the losers. The 8 lb weight loss seems to be a common feature this week!

Evening all
I never fail to be surprised by the conversation in here :rotfl: belly warmers and bloomers :rotfl: I didn't realise bloomers really existed :rotfl:
Full of good intentions to go on the bike today but it's cold up there and warm down here :rotfl: but I managed to get out to the shop today at least so I got some fresh air. I am going to go for a walk tomorrow- determined! Provided it doesn't snow of course. Made my first soup today that wasn't from a tin :j absolutely lovely it was and totally free :j going to make some more tomorrow.
Today's food plan:
B: HEXB Weetabix, part HEXA milk, cup of tea
L: Vegetable soup, 2 big slices of melon, litre of NAS flavoured water
T: Salmon, carrots, broccoli, sprouts, cauliflower. Freddo (5 syns) pint of NAS
S: 2 cheese twists (4 syns) cup of WW cherry chocolate brownie hot choc (2 syns)
Total: 11 syns
Hope everyone's ok xx*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -

Oh bloomers existed alright. Most of the teachers at my school seemed to wear them, and an inelegant lot they must have been otherwise how would we have seen them!
These were the closest I could find in case anyone fancies buying a pair!

I seem to remember they were called Harvest Festival knickers: all is safely gathered in!:rotfl:
Well done on your home made soup. Your menu looks pretty close to EESP. I'm not sure of your soup recipe but if you added some pulses (lentils? beans?) for protein that would be a SP meal in itself. Can I join please? Id like to aim for 12lbs, I had my weigh in today and have lost 1lb.

Welcome djenks. Don't worry, you've made a start.:) Why not post a few menus on here then we can help if you're going wrong anywhere.
I looked up that stuff about the S & P HEBs. I think if you took on all the 'advice' that's coming out at the moment then SW would be more and more like a diet and less of the Healthy Eating plan they're so proud of. What you're looking at is some Ryvita, Hi-Fi/Alpen Lights or some selected stewed fruit. I suppose it's worth knowing what the 'best' choices are but it's potentially very restrictive.
I watched Part 2 of the programme tonight (missed Part 1). I found it interesting in parts. I think we all knew there's a psychological element to weight gain but I wouldn't want anyone just giving up on losing because it's 'genetic'. It'll be interesting to hear what they say about the metabolism argument tomorrow. Some good tips. I liked the write a shopping list and stick to it :money:and see it as a challenge not to fall for the advertising traps (especially true of junk and processed food where most of the offers are). I was also interested in the exercise increasing with the challenge of a pedometer argument too. AND, it helps to have on line support!!! Well we all knew that didn't we!!!:A0 -
Ohhh! Miss Discreet. :T:T:eek:
And it's the same area code as mine 01254:j:j:j
I shall have to find out just where it is.:cool::rotfl::rotfl:0
