I don't know if this is normal or not, but the gym I've joined when they do your induction they do like a personal trainer session and make you up a program which they will then review for you every month - 6 weeks if you want... again included in membership, I thought it was really good. So I have my little bit of paper to work through.
I've only been going 2 days bit miffed that I'm having my hair done tonight so can't go

Hi Yes my gym is the same with the programme ours also does all the checks like BMI, recovery rate, weight, blood pressure etc etc every 3 months so yours maybe the same with the checks. So you can see where you are improving.
Glad you are enjoying it

Please can I declare early this week shrimpy, I'm at the airport on my way to the alps. So either I will ski off some pounds or eat my body weight in cheese!
Lost 2lbs in two weeks, now at 167lbs. Lovely to be under a new stone bracket.
Have a good week everyone

Sorry for my recent absence, especially as my eating went completely off the rails and I'm now heavier than my original start weight! Rather than having to see my % weight loss as a plus rather than minus, could I please reset my starting weight and start again?
I'm now 13 stone exactly (182lb) and still want to lose at least 36lb - know weigh in day is Wednesday but needed to get these figures down and get started. I'm fasting today and will aim for 4:3 for the first 6 weeks then review.
Thanks for taking on the thread, Shrimpy, it's great to have the support of this group to come back to now I'm back on the wagon! I'm happy for you to log my total weight loss on the chart.
Well done all the losers and triers - onwards and downwards!#21 Save £12k in 2025 £16977.35/£20000

hi Caeraugirl and lovely to have you back! No problem at all to reset your weight, I've zeroed everything else and put you down as STS this week then ready to weight in again a week on Wednesday, does that sound ok?
Archers - well done on the loss and have a lovely time! And hope you had a good time too First_Trouble, everyone is allowed a holiday so no slinking required!
I have baked two cakes over the weekend which involved much bowl licking and decoration nibbling, otherwise was pretty good and got some walking in so hopefully will be ok.
Went out for tea on Sat and ordered the chicken and red pepper salad, it was literally the worst thing I have ever seen! A few lettuce leaves, a plain sickly looking chicken breast cut into two halves and a quarter of a red pepper (whole) which was supposedly roasted but had possibly been held under the hand dryer for a few minutes. That was it. I should have complained but there was a big group of us so I couldn't be blessed with it - I was planning on treating myself to a pud but thought the sacrifice had better be worth it after all so just had a cup of tea!
Hope everyone else had a great weekend!Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -

First fast day almost over, have had one Bovril and just about to have prawn stir fry for tea, sure will taste better than your salad on Saturday lol!
If anyone is doing the Fast Diet, any thoughts on how many fast days are best? I was going to go for 4:3 but not sure if I should just take the plunge and do alternate days?#21 Save £12k in 2025 £16977.35/£20000
