  • 2 lb loss for me this week.

Stick to the diets everybody... it will pay off!
  • Morning all

    Well done to the losers.

I have undone some of the damage from the weekend away but overall I have still gained 2lb since last week.

  • Was quite proud of myself yesterday. Went to a work training day and as per usual biscuits, lunch etc was provided.

I ended up having the healthy lunch I took with me while the others had chicken pie followed by either lemon tart or chocolate cake. I also ended up winning a box of malteasers and a box of match makers in various quizzes and nicked 5 of those little biscuit packets to bring home. Didn't have any of it .

Come on everyone keep going. Think the group has lost some motivation. Not sure what others are doing but I am putting £5 in a box every wed (equivalent to what a diet club costs) and when I reach my goal I am going to use it to do some mega clothes shopping. Overall since I started in nov I have lost 29lb and have another 4 stone to go to reach my goal

That's a good idea haras! :) We used to have a little 'fat club' at work and would put in £1 a week and £1.50 if we gained. Every 4 months or so we'd use the money to treat ourselves to a meal, or pay for tickets to a work function. It was a nifty way of saving! :)

I made this the other night and it was yummy. Did less than half quantities and cut the butter down massively (ie. a little to fry the onions in, subbed in oilve oil for brushing on top). Came in under 600 cal per good size portion but next time I'll make it with butternut squash which will cut it down much more. :)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Feeling really meh this morning; made cakes last night for work and on top of licking the bowls (which has to be done) and tasting them (chocolate brownies and lemon drizzle) and then stuffing myself with chinese, I now feel disgusting. I've spent the last 6 weeks trying to eat as 'cleanly' as possible and last nights binge has really taken it's toll on my body. Eugh. Rant over.

  • I am really trying to keep up with the day to day exercise. Am averaging at 17000 steps a day now whoo-hoo! First week was ok now my body is starting to ache but think that is because I haven't been getting to bed at a decent time. Looking forward to the weekend already
That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

Sorry for the late weigh-in, I've been suffering badly with tonsillitis for the past week and just over the past couple of days have started to feel normal again! Happy to say I've lost 3lbs this week which was fab!!! Hopefully I can keep it off :)
