Happy belated 30th Dinah! Hope you - and the other birthday girls on the thread - had a lovely weekend.
There's a lot of celebrating going on  I for one know I'm guilty of using anything as an excuse to eat. I reckon it's going to be another dismal day on the scales for me tomorrow. I just need to stop feeling sorry for myself for teeny weight loss in January and kick its !!!, rather than having a cappuccino and chocolate twist before 10am on an ordinary Tuesday...
Well done to everyone who is keeping motivated, losing weight and being nice to themselves
Tete, that's loads of inches - brava, lady! I'm furious at how horrid your job sounds  Any more thoughts on whether you can stick it out until summer?

Another Happy Belated Birthday Dinah, hope you had a great weekend!

Poddle- I haven't decided on what I'm dressing up as yet, it's an open theme so I've got no restrictions! I did think about Belle as I always wanted the outfit when I was little so feel like I 'deserve' it now, but I'd want to do it properly and the practicalities of wearing a massive dress are putting me off!
I'm currently playing with being a mermaid (i.e. childood dream #2) but not sure if I should be Ariel or just *a* mermaid after looking at some awsome Pinspiration last night!

Afternoon ladies! Happy belated birthday Dinah!
I'm sure I'm not going to manage a loss this week either and I'm cross about it! I've been good this week, gym twice, finished the 30 day squat challenge off, started the last but one week of the couch to 5k and missed out on the office McDonalds
I'm not sleeping very well and pretty stressed at work so maybe that's it? Or maybe a miracle will happen overnight :rotfl: I know I'm fitter and eating better so trying to focus on that and keep positive!
Birdie - one vote here for Mermaid, awesome costume idea! Or are you not tempted by Barbie?Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -
I'm always tempted by Barbie Shrimpy! I was a Barbie Princess on my hen do though (which is why I'm being sensible about wearing a massive dress, it was pretty awkward!) so don't really want to repeat it. I could secretly be Mermaid Barbie though!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

Wow so many 30ths! It was my 30th too, do you think there is a correlation between a mile stone birthday and the desire to lose weight?! :rotfl:

I have managed to get back into a fleece that I haven't been able to wear for ages. I feel good! It is helping to keep me motivated ( and I need all the help and motivation that I can find).

Good Morning fellow Losers!
Early morning check in.
Pleased to report a loss of 1lb.
That takes me to 218lbs from a start of 224lbs.
Feel pleased with this because I thought it was going to be another minimal loss or nothing at all.Feb NST #4

STS and a massive cold sore for me
(So current weight 163.5lbs, total loss of 6.5lbs so far)Really want to kick start myself this week as I'm going on a spa day with my three skinny gorgeous best friends in two weeks and I don't want to look too lardy next to themBut work is KILLING me, all I want to do is crawl into bed with a massive bar of Galaxy

Morning all
Really pleased that I'veSTS this week. I weighed myself after the weekend and had put on 7lbs with stuffing myself for 5 days, however 2 days of fasting and I'm back down to my weight from last week. Not really something to be proud of but I'm so pleased I haven't gone up!LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)
