    Awesome work Hopelessly Hopeful!!

Afraid I'll be letting the group down next month as I've decided to focus on being more active with healthy choices over weight loss. So I'm swearing off scales through February, but will be weighing myself on March 1st (So, January 31st - March 1st) I can just feel myself getting focused on the scales and noticeably having it control my moods (lighter = happiness, heavier = grumpy as balls)

Feel like a major let down but with having suffered from ED in the past I need to be mindful of my triggers. I'll be keeping a good diet with exercise etc so will continue posting for motivation but the weekly weigh ins are a no-go for a while.

    Hope that's okay :o

As a group this week we lost.... 20lbs. That's a manx cat. You don't get a picture. Do NOT make me go all Gillian on you, but it's also half of what we were aiming for - don't give up guys keep on the band wagon!

I'm imagining this right now ;)

Well done HH! Looks like a lot of us struggled this week but onwards and upwards - the miserable weather isn't helping but the thought of being all fit and healthy in time for summer is a great motivator.

Cinny, I'm sure everyone totally supports your decision to lay off the scales, but I do hope you keep posting here too, you always brighten up the thread :)

Off to the gym tonight and just resisted the office McDonalds run so am feeling :A - determined to get a good loss next week.

And finally, because Jillian is nice as well as nasty:

  • Boohoo the same for me this week. I have been so busy at school that I have stopped noting down everything. I will need to get organised as this does make you more aware.

Made the mistake of jumping on the scales yesterday - normally Monday is my weigh day. Hmm not happy :( Have a yearning for stodge! Very good last night and had a stir fry and then later 2 slices of toast with peanut butter ARRGGHH!
So today is another day and more activity on the cards.

Sorry I find the shouting Gillian really unpleasant and not at all motivating! But whatever works for you - she is certainly not my thing

I like Zuzana Light's workouts. She is on utube as well as having her own website. She also used to be half of bodyrock.

You can get soooo many workouts from her for free! Bodyweight, beginner, hardcore, sandbag, she is extremely creative and inventive. Love her!

    Haaaaaaappy February! :j

Hope everyone's well! I've been behaving this weekend with food, although my water intake has slipped massively :o Will get back on top of this!

Had an email yesterday for my weekly FitBit stats. All in I walked 30 miles, so aiming to best that this week :) Already walked 12,000 steps today and still have Ryder's evening walk to go.

On a MSE note, popped to the local discount food shop and got my work snacks sorted for the week for 50p :money:Although technically free to my personal finances as OH paid :o
  • Happy birthday Dinah! Hope you're having a lovely indulgent time :)

I have been and it's not even my birthday :o
