  • I have a Fitbit Flex and it does encourage me to up my steps especially as you can add friends and challenge each other. The sleep tracker is ok, but it tracks movement so if you lie still for hours trying to get to sleep it will think you have slept.

  • I just received a friends code for 1 free box of Graze. Thought I share if anyone is interested... For the ones who dont know GRAZE... you get little treats delivered to your home or office. Lots of different varieties and little snacks which dont make you feel guilty as they come in small portions but still satisfying. The good thing about Graze you can cancel your subsription anytime.

The code is 49YJX3GJE for your first free box! graze.com

    Enjoy!!
  • Someone has just put LO meeting sandwiches out for the office argghh trying to be content with my healthy snack :(

My weekend was hit and miss really. Friday had a take away curry , Saturday was good, then Sunday went to pub for dinner and had rack of ribs with curly fries and garlic bread

I truly am a feaster, I'm fine until I start on something then I want it all. Today has been really good though, 200 calories under, so hoping it has limited the damage somewhat. Gym tomorrow night as well, try and burn off some of the calories. MFP seems to think I'm still under on total calories for the week, so that's something :D

I think I'm moderately optimistic for this weeks weigh in. Need to work on being more active in the evenings, on non-gym nights I tend to just flop on the sofa. Made the hairy bikers Tangle Pie tonight as linked in the thread (thanks for whoever suggested it), it was yummy and there is 2 portions LO for lunches at work, save me having sandwiches as I want to try and cut down on bread/wheat.

    How is everyone else doing?

If you want to rely on a FitBit for step count be careful which model you get. I'm a member on a diet and fitness website, where there are a number of members who own these - and there are regular reports (latest in the last fes days) of the Flex and Charge (wristband models) counting arm waving as steps, while the Zip or One (clip to bra or clothing?) don't.

Really? I have the Charge and went to bed exactly on 18,000 (paced the room a little as 17,891 steps was not going to be the end of my day!) and watched tv for about an hour moving around, possibly throwing my arms around singing songs, and when I finally settled to sleep I checked my steps again and still 18k! Will keep an eye out for it though :)

I'm using the fitbit app to track everything and started counting calories (boooooo) Can you link your fitbit to MFP? Just the food on the fitbit app is all american and I'm having to do a lot of solo inputting.

Had a good day yesterday! Had an accidental veggie day, would have been vegan too but after I got back from my afternoon walk (5 miles ) I was so hungry I scrambled an egg in coconut oil and wilted some spinach on top. Delish!

Had a little word with myself and decided... I'm not having the supreme doughnut burger. I've not even worked hard enough to think I deserve a little doughnutty treat let alone two sandwiched together with meat :rotfl: So I'm going to have a veggie burger instead. The veggie burger is, in fact, just a flat mushroom. With water instead of pop, like a good'un :)

Love how we're all doing damage limitations :rotfl: I'm trying to think of it positively.. a few bad meals over two days instead of a weeks worth of bad meals? That's progress!

As I said, I don't have one. I just know it crops up on another forum from time to time. Someone did say it was supposed to have 'been fixed' a while ago, but either it hasn't been properly or there's a lot of old stock around because people who've recently bought/been given one are still having the same problem.

    Evening all

Just thought I would report back after completing two consecutive fasting days. It seemed to go really well and with an empty tummy I definitely felt slimmer this morning. I weighed in on Sunday morning and weighed 10st 11lbs (somehow I had put on 2lbs since last Wednesday) and weighing in this morning, I had lost 2lbs :) If I weigh the same tomorrow, I will have STS again, but at least its not the 2lbs on that it was by Sunday!

Looking forward to weighing in tomorrow morning :)

Cinny you can link your Fitbit to MFP, I think I did it through MFP on my phone and it was super simple (as I would have given up otherwise)

Apple muncher (great name btw!) I have the clip on too and get on just fine with it apart from a fear of losing it! (I lost one previously). The only place it stays secure is on my bra...

Just back from seeing Jillian and she was Fantastic (deserving of a capital F) and after the show my friend and I were queuing for merchandise (last out as I always am!) and she came past us and said 'hello' so I'm going to bed on a high! So starstruck and I'm not even sorry.
