I might have to dig out the wii also. I remember there was a bike you could buy to go with it, has anyone ever used it and was it any good?
Just got back from work, been there since 6am, after my shift I had a brief nose in the gym at the vibro plate thing, turns out the gym manager saw me and collared me shortly after.. "no one goes in my gym for less than ten minutes!" I put up a protest which then sparked a ten minute free personal training session, so a result of sorts and I've broken my gym bunny cherry in the work environmentJanuary 2025 - Debt £20,0060 -
Recipe for the lentil curry is here
Sorry for the Shining reference everyone!
ETO - Step ups used to be my favourite thing on the Wii fit! I'd set it to 30 minutes and make sure the volume was up on the controller so you just step off and on the board to the sound of the clicks. Then I'd just flip the tv source channel back over to real tv (wii fit still chugs along merrily to itself!) until the 30 minutes were up. But I do second Pix, Zumba for it is a must! Ohh, I forgot how much I loved doing that. Might have to set the wii up next week now
Back from picking my Sister up, was very well behaved in the car. Stuck to my snacks, water and dinnerHad that at about 12:45 and still feel full. Looking forward to our walk in the Peaks tomorrow. Unless the weather's terrible in which case we'll probably do nothing!

Hubby and I have been experimenting with Quorn. I have had the quorn meatless balls several times with pasta. Have now tried the mince - nice as chilli con carne. Lamb grills - wouldn't have again. Quarter lb burgers - very nice with a warbuton pocket bread with cranberry and multigrain mustard, sliced tomato, onion and lettuce. Chicken fillets - needs a sauce with it - would just prefer to have the real thing as they are low fat. Has anyone tried any of the other quorn products?2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Pretty much all of them, and haven't disliked one yet
I remember when it was a powder (I think?) like flour and you had to add water to it and mix it into shapes yourself... May have been a different product lol but please do forgive me, I was only about 4 or 5January 2025 - Debt £20,0060 -
Igamogam - I'm of the same attitude towards "fake meat" lol.
Lentils, pearl barley, and sweet potato work awesome in a chilli instead of mince in a veggi chili. Makes it about 340 cal (less if you use stock instead of half a bottle of red wine to make it). And doesn't need rice or anything with it as the lentils and barley are already in it

Just come back from a sh'bam class at the gym. Anyone else tried this class? It is so much fun. Dancing class like Zumba but to really camp songs like madonna, britney, and my personal favourite 'you can't stop the beat' from hairspray. Good fun and burns about 650 cal in 45 minsI am a Mortgage Adviser

Wish my gym had that kind of class!
Also just back from the gym, I'm doing the couch to 10k program at the moment, just wish I had the energy to do it after work in the week too.
I've started the intermittent fasting diet suggested by the BBC2 program for Constant Cravers. You have to do 2 fasting days in a row so will see how it goes. So far I've had bacon and mushrooms for breakfastLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

This sounds brilliant! Never heard of it before but hope it catches on. I haven't been to any classes for ages but might try one this week. I want to try Metafit but it's on Tues which is when I have my date with Jillian
Made it to the gym this morning although nearly turned back when I saw how iced over my car was! Brrrr!
Gem Gem - I like most of the quorn stuff I have tried, except the standard sausages which were a bit meh, not sure if they do a fancy version which may be tastier. I used to be veggie so am used to it, although they have way more variety now than they did then. Even do a quorn chorizo which is yummy but no idea how it compares to the real thing calorie wise. Sainsburys has the best selection where I live.
Going to drag myself off the sofa now to make some soup and chili for next week's lunches, then going to do a roast but leave out the potatoes for me and have extra veg.
