Why is it when you sneak a quick look at the scales the day after weigh-in it rewards you wit a bit more lost  That bit better stay lost!0

No change here.
Time of the month though so sort of expected. (sorry if thats TMI lol.)
I've been thinking about joining a gym since before Christmas! but I'm wondering whether to just save that money and buy myself a cross trainer instead as that's mostly what I'll use...Decisions decisions... planning on starting over with 30DS while I make a decision
x
Eyebright - I use MFP too
I use the same name on there if anyone wants to be friends on there, x
When I figure out how to find/add people as my friends I will add you!
Can't remember who posted about milestone rewards, but I think it's a fab idea and I plan to sit down and work some out for myself. Thanks to this weeks gain of 2lb  my total I need to lose is a round 30lb. So I'm thinking every 10lb I lose I will treat myself. Just need to figure out what they will be now0 -

have joined the 6 week weight loss challenge at the gym
5% loss (11.5lb) wins a towel and water bottle
10% loss (23lb) wins a months free membership
highest weight loss winner gets a years membership
am aiming for the 10% so have to lose 3-4lb a week
The gym I've been looking at does similar, you actually get paid money as you lose weight.... I don't think there is a time scale on it only a £ limit.... still very tempting...
Good Luckx
I hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
even when it feels like your not....0 -
I like the idea of the weight loss milestones too, might do it in 5% chunks though as that's almost 10lb anyway it'll almost be the same. Off to think up some rewards...0

And as promised, eventually, this week's chart.
(Note for next week: Make medals smaller so by week 5 we're not buried in a sea of red and gold)
Congratulations again to NIM. Now if everyone could just step away from the biccies and towards the melons, preferably while doing a 10k it'd be nice to share the biggest loser love about a bit, if only to stop him skipping smugly around the house and waking the children! Also congratulations to Cinny, the only other person to be in the top 10 both weeks (Although Gem-Gem was very close).
This week we lost 65.6lb between us. That's the same as a female labrador, or a large wedding cake.
So far in total we've lost 152.5lb which equals....
Just kidding! Actually it =
:eek::eek::eek:
Just a heads up if you post a loss of say 6lb, but didn't post anything the previous week your loss will be averaged over two weeks, otherwise someone could go away for 6 weeks and come back with a super 15% loss for example, but it's not over the same time period as the chart and the rest of us if that makes sense. No less fantastic and you'll still get some mega congrats for doing it, but the chart might not be quite as chipper about things.

I am glad I haven't added to my weight as I have been eating out lot more than I had planned.

Oh and for the recipe catalogue. Made Hairy Dieters Moussaka for tea, three cleared plates which just about never happens - and we were all happily full for about 300 calories, must be witchcraft.

Nope, dropping the 6 sausages and pieces of bacon along with the fried eggs for breakfast, the coke and sweets in the car, the whiskey and coke on a night, rationalising my portion sizes and allowing myself an occasional treat while working ina very active job (advanced dementia care with challenging behaviour) for 60 hours a week...
I've actually made quite a few changes when I write it down. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0
