Loss of 3lbs here. Chuffed with that. Although next week won't be so good, as the last two days I've had treacle sponge for dessert.

Well done everyone who has achieved a loss on week two! :staradmin
3lbs lost this week. I didn't lose anything last week and I find it really hard to lose weight generally so I'm pretty happyI'm now 150.4lbs.
This week I did two 5:2 fast days, 2 C25K runs, avoided bread, pasta etc in the evenings, didn't snack and refused a yummy looking chocolate torte :A
Possibly my greatest achievement though was avoiding the cakes and chocolates in my office! The amount is crazy! Pretty much every day someone comes back from a trip to a supermarket casually with 3 cakes or a tin of chocolates. I 33.3% blame it for my weight increase last year! Does anyone else have this problem with their work?
I did the test and I am a Constant Craver, like most other people. I really like the 5:2 diet - it really helps with any digestion problems, makes me sleep better and feel more energetic the next day. The book is a really interesting and an easy read for anyone interested.
Thank you Dinah93 for running the challenge - it really motivated me this week.0 -
I completely forgot to weigh this morning, and in the interest of being consistent with the time I'd rather do it in the morning if that's OK Dinah. Will endeavour to post my result before I leave for work!
I don't have high hopes for a loss this week, as I ate badly at the weekend when I was away and have been feeding a cold all day Monday and Tuesday
Still whatever the result I will plod on and just do better next week. I haven't watched the Horizon programmes yet, but I took the quiz on my lunch break at work and it was pretty close between Feaster and Constant Craver, with Feaster just nudging into the lead. I'm not an emotional eater as such, but I do see food as a treat and reward. And I have a big problem with overly large portion sizes! I'm going to start weighing food out now, and try to break the habit of clearing my plate, even if I only leave a mouthful!
Well done on all the losses so far ladiesdoing fabulously!
Did Body HIIT at the gym tonight, and my God it was tough, I couldn't breathe at the end! Also managed 11,000 odd steps today, so have hit my exercise targets.0 -
Just slinking in to claim my wooden spoon
After eating and drinking all the things on my weekend away I have gained 1lb this week. I had always intended to have the weekend off so it wasn't lack of willpower, I hoped being "good" on the other days would balance it out but having a good loss last week maybe unbalanced that? Anyhoo I'm not to disheartened and have been bang on plan since Monday so next week should show a loss. Please don't boot me off the thread!
Also I checked my measurements to try to cheer myself up and have lost a few cm here and there so will take that as consolation.Possibly my greatest achievement though was avoiding the cakes and chocolates in my office! The amount is crazy! Pretty much every day someone comes back from a trip to a supermarket casually with 3 cakes or a tin of chocolates. I 33.3% blame it for my weight increase last year! I totally have this! Luckily I have just moved rooms and am now on the second floor with two blokes who never bring yummies in (or make the tea for that matter) so I am removed from temptation! On the plus side, if I have a surplus of chocs at home (eg at birthdays) I know I can take them into work and they'll be demolished!
Still have a dodgy knee so am going to stick to swimming for a bit to see if that helps although I weirdly am missing the treadmill (please send help).Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -
Just tried the quiz and I'm a constant craver too. I would definitely be miserable on the 5:2 though I think.Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0

Thanks Dinah and NIM for all this! And bravo on your weightloss - both of you, but especially NIM - ya big loser
I'm going to have to report a STS this week. All this talk of consistent weigh in conditions and I've replaced my bathroom floor so *maybe* that had an effect...? I'm pleasantly achey from boxing and spin class this week, so don't feel too discouraged. Fingers crossed and calories counted for next week!
Well done everyone :T - looking forward to seeing the results tomorrow. Let's not worry about minor blips, just think how much worse it could be if we weren't trying at all!LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380
