Morning everyone! After expecting the worst this week I was pleasantly surprised that I've lost 1lb! Weighing in at 167lb now. Only another 26 to go...
I'm feeling pretty buoyed up by that so going to up my efforts to stay strong on a weekend (which is when The Feeder is at home!) and do more exercise! MUST do some Just Dance tonight!
Scary stuff about Gracie, glad she's OK though DinahWell done for staying strong whilst the littlies have been ill, I'd have been stress eating bacon in your shoes!

Wow, some amazing weight losses this week.
Waistnotwantnot and Apple muncher, don't be too disappointed. Staying the same is considerably better than a gain, and all it can take is an extra glass of water or an apple before weigh-in for you to not get the result you want. Also I know for me personally my hormones can vary my weight by a number of pounds across the month, so I try not to look too much at the weekly loss, but to concentrate on the overall loss.
For me ½lb off this week so 21lb in total. Would of liked more, but it's in the right directionZebras rock0 -
Stayed the same again for me but well done everyone!0

Another 1lb off here
Pleasantly surprised with that, as I still haven't got my brain fully into gear for the weightloss battleCheryl0 -
Wow well done on the weight loss everyone!
I weighed myself this morning, and I have no idea! They're the scales that move depending on how you stand on them, so I'll put myself at maintaining this week, so any weight I have lost will be a nice gift next week!
Really disappointed in myself though, I didn't do my squat or ab challenge yesterday because I've suddenly had this very very bad pain in my shoulder so I didn't want to risk it. It hurts all of the timeMy hand is slowly getting more numb as the pain is going down my arm and up my neck now. Driving was a PITA this morning!
I'm catching up later because I genuinely feel worse for not exercising but that means like 90 sit ups!
I watched that diet show on BBC2 last night and really enjoyed it. I am a constant craver but I think I have a combination of all three! Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

I agree that maintains are better than gains and well done to all the losers this week. I've lost 3.5lbs which is amazing for me and means that the Christmas gain is gone and I'm now back down to my lowest weight.
Hope both the kiddies are feeling better soon Dinah.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
Glad to hear Gracie is okay! Hope Ben is doing well x
Weighed in this morning with a loss of 3lb! Which I'm extremely happy with, 4" loss from various points on the body too!
Well done on the losses everyone, and to everyone who stayed the same I'm sure you'll all kill it next week! That's a good idea about the cauli, Birdie. Has anybody tried making Courgetti? (courgette spaghetti) I really want to try it but I need a recommendation.
I have! Only aaages ago. So long I think the tool you use to make it was thrown out in the move :rotfl: Find it tasted the nicest if you cook the courgetti in the sauce you're going to put on it rather that soloI really want to try spaghetti squash! My sister has it all the time and says it's amazing, but it's harder to come by in England.
That's a bit of a strong reaction love, no diet is worth losing your marbles over. Next time just have a small popcorn and think no more about it, it's fairly diet friendly of all the cinema nibbles.
My marbles were lost many many years ago! No hope in getting them back now. Tbh, I do have a little treat every day. I just let myself get too hungry with forgetting a snack, not having time to get one before the movie started and being too lost in James Corden's beauty to leave the screen to go get one :rotfl: But I will forever cry over food, I got overly emotional over a 20" pizza not too long ago.
I haven't watched that diet show, but did the test and apparently I'm a nothing :rotfl: I don't fit!
Goal for next week is just to get firmly in the 160's. I really want to start exercising more, about 30 minutes on the crosstrainer or 60 minutes peddling infront of the tv, every day if possible.
Pretty excited for my snack at work today. Bakewell Tart Nakd bar! The absolute ultimate nakd bar, no idea how they do it but it tastes just like cherry bakewells. Obviously the consistency isn't the same, but the taste!0 -
Has anyone done that diet test and not been a constant craver?! I really don't think the 5-2 would work for me as as soon as I stopped I'd pile it all back on, calorie counting does work as it makes me a lot more aware of what I eat and that's a pattern I can continue later.
2.8lbs off for me this week, I think, I can't 100% remember what I was last week but now 157.8lbs.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
