Scary stuff about Gracie, glad she's OK though Dinah
Well done for staying strong whilst the littlies have been ill, I'd have been stress eating bacon in your shoes!
Actually I had some bacon on Sunday morning after the hospital as Grace asked for it for breakfast - I hate the fat on bacon anyway so I buy bacon medallions, and you can have 2 for 68 calories, so I had 3 of those and a bit of butternut squash roasted in spray oil - extremely filling for about 150 calories total, I didn't want lunch until 2pm and it still felt like a very indulgent breakfast!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Haven't had a good weight loss week at all, I've been very unmotivated and hadn't yet decided what plan or diet to follow.
From today I'm doing 2 meal replacement shakes and 1 meal per day - I probably won't last much longer than a week or two doing that but I really need to give myself a proper kickstart to motivate myself to carry on. I'm hoping to have lost at least 5 or 6lbs by next weeks weigh in.
Anyway today's weigh in: - 1lb (brings me down to 13stone exactly or 182lbs)

Wow, well done! :T
I'm with Dinah, I don't think I could do the 5:2 diet. I need to eat regularly (and enough!) or I get really faint so on fast days I'd probably feel like I'm dying, then dive face first into a sharing bag of crisps so it really wouldn't work!
That bacony-squash breakfast sounds really good Dinah!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
I got emotional eater but I already knew that before I did the test. I don't eat more though when I'm stressed or upset, I actually go completey off my food and feel sick. It's that I eat when I'm bored as I have a low attention threshold and doing the company accounts is...boring...:rotfl:
I'd try and do some exercise but I need to see a chiropractor as my back "went" just before Christmas and it still hurts when I walkI'm only 33yrs old for crying out loud!!! :rotfl:
Anyway, I know I'm stalling but I actually put 0.25lbs on  Not too bothered though this week as I had some terrible news at the weekend and my healthy eating went out of the window. I'm back on it though and am hoping for a great number next week. :T0 -
I got emotional eater too. Didn't really need telling that as I knew. I gained 4stone after my brother died, and I eat when I am upset. I am a classic comfort eater.
I just try to make sure I have healthier versions of comfort food available to minimise the damage these days.Zebras rock0 -

Make sure you see the chiropractor soon! My DH keeps having back trouble but swears by his chiropractor/sports masseuse! Think he's actually a little bit in love with her...!But yeah, a couple of sessions with her and some simple exercises that he does every day and he feels loads better than he has done for years, and the exercises have improved his flexibility loads, he can touch his toes for the first time in over 10 years! He's only 31... but has been playing rugby for 20 years so is a bit 'worn'!
I got emotional eater in that test but I'm not sure... I don't gorge on anything and would never eat a full packet of biscuits etc but I suppose if I'm upset/stressed etc I would go for the treat option over the healthy option and would opt for a couple of chocolatey treats instead of just going without... I do the boredom eating too.I do eat less on an evening when I'm busy working on something so I guess the trick is to keep myself busy so I don't just eat rubbish all night!
