The trouble with narrow minded thinking, is those suffering from it, are obsessed in the "But what if" World. Which is generally always a far cry from the real World. Its why no court in the land would condemn a person based on a "But what if" scenario. .

Like I said, if you took a slave and forced him to sew clothes for you in your house - you think this is equal to buying these clothes from a shop at a distance? I would understand you putting it to the back of your mind in the latter instance (Not right, but the distance would make it so much more psychologically understandable), but if the person were in front of you and you sanctioned it, I would wonder how you could go through with it.

Well, I prefer to buy goods from shops than own a slave to sew clothes for me. If I preferred to own a slave, I'd probably lack a lot of empathy.
