Just managed to get myself a whole new colour set for my pram for £9.99! In green, I have the set in blue currently but even if we have a boy I think I prefer the green.
Sweetilemon, I can't imagine working in a kitchen all day, the heat, being on your feet. I work in the community but out of an office so a mix of desk, driving, sitting in people's homes. It's quite a good mix.0 -
I'm a teacher and on my feet most the day, and I have to admit I am finding it exhausting. my bump really aches by the end of the day.
On the plus side, the consultant said I can take my allergy medicine, so yay to Piriton!
I have two little wrigglers in my belly, and after a rescan, my little girl finally moved enough to be measured, so both babies are fine.
I have to go and have my cervix remeasured in a couple of weeks, as it measured quite short which can sometimes be an indication of early labour apparently! Am hoping next scan shows no change.
Sweetilemom, I wanted an epidural with DS, but there was no anaesthetist available!!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Pinkshoes - my OH is a teacher, I can't imagine doing that all day! I went shopping last weekend, was wandering all day and my bump really ached, found I was subconsciously rubbing it - totally shattered OHs illusion of why women their bump!0

I got little wooden baby hangers from IKEA today - ones to match mummies! Now just need a wardrobe to put them in and a house to put the wardrobe in! Putting an offer in on a house next week so fingers crossed. Also bought a bottle steriliser set, planning to breastfeed but thought we'd need bottles at some point and nice to have as an emergency. Reduced from £150 to £65. Gap kids in our area is closing so got a little half price baby grow. Happy with today's bargin.
Still been really tired, went for a 3hr nap after shopping today.0 -
Morning all
Hope you had nice weekends. We had in-laws to stay so had to do a lot of sorting/tidying of DD's outgrown clothes/nappies so we could get to the spare bedall up in the loft now so the upstairs is much tidier which is nice. Used the chance to sort through the bags of clothes from 0-2years, we'll have a lot to sell if Froglet is a boy! Lots of neutrals in the 0-6 month bag though, so not too much we need to get for early on.
I've started suffering with stretchy ligament pains around my belly, think i'm going to have to dig out my support band from last time and see if that helps as I was pretty uncomfortable by yesterday evening after spending all morning on my feet cooking lunch.Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -

Afternoon everyone, hope you're all doing well! My morning sickness FINALLY seems to be subsiding now I'm nearly at 16 weeks (hope I'm not jinxing myself by saying that!). I only have waves of nausea now rather than feeling ill all day so hopefully I'll feel 100% soon!*niptuckfan* wrote: »im 16 weeks today and yesterday I felt something that was different…no idea if was baby havent told anyone else LOL as not quite sure…could be wind I suppose hahah.
niptuckfan, I'm pretty sure I have been feeling baby wriggle over the last couple of days - i know it's still early to feel anything but this is unlike anything I've ever felt before so I'm pretty sure it's not just wind... If I had to describe it, I'd say it feels like a little fish is swimming around in there!0 -
Bean 83 great its not just me lol! it was definately a different sensation - i like you are starting to see a big difference in the sickness - yay!! its been hard going and i must admit my diet this last 12 weeks has been prob the worst of my life....at least now i can stomach a bit more fruit veg and some protein0
