Snow ball. I hope everything is ok for you, did they give you any indication what the anomaly is? Fingers crossed all goes well tomorrow.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be so mysterious :o Yes they've identified a specific anomaly, but until we have full details from the specialist I didn't want to get into it.

Thanks for the messages, once we know what's what, I'll update :)

Good luck with your next appointment Snowball!

I can definitely recommend big bouncy balls! DS wasn't born until 42 weeks and it was the only comfortable thing to sit on!

Got to hear both heartbeats at my MW appointment today, but she says it is highly unlikely I will feel like working until 35 weeks. Hmmm, might have to have a rethink...

Time for some lunch, then back to my DIY, as otherwise DH will think I have had my feet up all day ;)

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

    Welcome Japmis.

Snowball - I wasn't being nosey, jut thought it was awful if they'd kept you in the dark about it! I hope everything goes well.

Is it just me that is counting down to Mat leave? 19 weeks for me!

Jwil, can I ask how you know where the placenta is. Did they tell you at the 12 week or 20 week scan?

On the pillow front, I bought a mum to be pack from Argos. It has a V shaped pillow and a small wedge. The V shape does help, especially with the achy back when sitting up, but still not feeling very comfortable at the moment.

A few scans coming up soon for you guys! Looking forward to hearing all the updates. Are you all finding out the sex, or waiting it to see what you have? We are waiting, but I am getting an urge to want to know now!

They told us at both scans, although after the 12 week one it still said anterior on the notes so I wasn't certain.

They confirmed where it was on the 20 week scan.

There's no way I could wait until baby was born to know what it was, I'm far too impatient :D

Nope, I sat here today and counted how many working days I have left - 69!! I've also got a few more days leave to take as well so it will be about a week less than that. :D

  • Good luck with the next scan snowball

I've got my scan on Monday, im dreading it rather than looking forward, but also want to get it out of the way if that makes any sense! We're team yellow 2.

I havent been thinking about how many work days ive got left, i'm so much more chilled out this pregnancy!

Dd felt baby kick/move the other day, but dh hasnt yet!
Still here..... but working on that!

Saw the endocrinologist today, she was very nice, has increased my dose by 25mcg. I'll have to see her every 6 weeks until I give birth!

    What's that for then?

During my meeting with HR I was told that I have to take all my annual leave before I go on maternity (if I take the full 12 months off), so I will have the whole of January as paid leave then start maternity on 1st Feb. This means I finish at Christmas! :j so same as you, 19 weeks to go and counting! :T
