Sounds lovely pinkshoes. Make the most of being waited on. It sounds amazing.
Sorry your feeling rubbish minimuffin. Hope it doesn't last.
Rambosmum, how did the appointment go?
I like the idea of a cupboard. Thanks guys, I think I will call a carpenter and see what they can do.
Had a lovely birthday, and when we got home from the restaurant, OH proposed!!!! He wanted to do it at dinner with my whole family there. The ring was in my sisters bag, but because I didn't go to the loo, they couldn't do the handover! Sneaky! So we are now planning a wedding and preparing for a baby! So much to do!0 -
That's great news devil! Congratulations.
Appointment was fine, won't get the results until my next obstetricians appointment in September. 4 weeks tomorrow until my next scan.
Told my new manager about baby today, she was great about it. Must be secretly cursing me though!0 -
So pleased your new manager was fine with it.0

Anyone else have lots of stretchy pains at the moment? I am getting them at night mostly when I am turning over. Feel like a stitch. Anything I can do to alleviate them?0
-
Yeah, I'm getting them. And I woke up this morning with a proper pot belly, so I really think it's uterine growth!
I've finally succumbed to buying a bra in a larger size. A couple are still ok but my go-to white one has me popping out all over the place!0 -
Yeah I get them at night too or If I stand up quickly. I had them with ds and dont think there is anything you can do. My hip is getting sore so might start to put a pillow between my knees at bedtime.Mum of 2 :j0

I've had stretchy pains (if I stand up or move too quick) for ages. Am definitely having more discomfort in the night though, mainly my hips, but noticing my tummy feels really heavy and uncomfortable when I'm switching positions. I use a pillow for between my legs and to lean on, but it's not really helping at the moment.
I've not really got a bump yet, can see a little something when I lie down, but wondering if there's a bit of a growth spurt going on this week. Will mention it to the midwife next week anyway.0 -
Not popped in a while, as there wasn't much happening on the baby front - until 18 weeks I had no bump and felt fine!
Had a few funny 'turns' since then and have been thoroughly checked over - slightly low blood pressure and iron levels which they will keep an eye on.
I now also have a little bump :T which comes with the downside of people touching it :mad: my MIL is especially bad. How do you all get over this? I stand there smiling but really want to slap her hand away!!
OH and I off on a wee holiday on Sunday for a sunshine break just to feel some heat on our bones ('summer' here in Scotland has been shocking!!), so looking forward to that. Hopefully catch a little bit of colour as I am so pale at the moment.
Can't believe I am nearly half way. I am really going to try and chill out after my 20 week scan and actually enjoy and try to get excited about being pregnant. Anyone else feel like this?
