I'd like to work as close as possible to my due date too and will have to use up any remaining annual leave. I'm thinking some time in the first couple of weeks in December?

I have no idea how I'm going to deal with Christmas this year with being due so close, I kind of want to tell people we're staying home for most of it and not spending any money! I absolutely love Christmas though, so don't want to come across scroogey :rotfl:

Rambosmum, you're so organised!! I haven't saved anywhere near enough for Mat leave and I'm not even planning on repaying the 0% credit cards.

I feel nothing but excitement now (hormones permitting! :o) , I imagine I'll be nervous before the anomaly scan, but other than that I'm loving how my life is being pregnant and looking forward to meeting a new little person!

Rambo I think its natural to be a little afraid of the unknown, all you want to do is protect yourself and the little un inside you. Everything will be fine tho. Well done you for saving! I need to get my finger out as need to save for ds nursery fees which are almost the same as smp every month!

I am so glad I don't need to worry about that yet!

I've just bought a baby bath off ebay for £2 (local collection). I'm getting very MSE with all this!

Are people planning on using disposable or reusable nappies/ what have the experienced ones amongst us used?

I used both with DS - disposable when out and about and night, then reusable when at home. I have 6 of the bum genius ones. Quite liked them, but too much hassle for out and about (especially if a poo explosion had occured).

I then used them for nighttime potty training, as DS was pretty much dry at night, but just in case...

I am planning on being as MSE as possible! will be finding out gender so we can sell DS's stuff if necessary.

£2 for a baby bath is a bargain! I paid £2.99 for one of those flexi garden buckets when we had DS that made a great bath for a baby!

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

I haven't got anywhere near enough savings yet, I need to get on with it!

I'll be using mainly cloth nappies, but with some disposables. I already have quite a stash of reusables from DS and have already bought a couple more for the baby. They can be quite addictive :o

£2 for a baby bath is a bargain! We used the kitchen sink so will do that again this time.

We arent very mse and use disposables. I never really thought about reusables, but we do try to get the best deal we can. Im going to attempt potty training when im off but will take ds lead! We have a bath but tbh it took up so much space that I used the sink too. Ds then had a wee seat in bath when he could sit up. Thats a bargain for the bath!

Hi all, I am now 21 weeks. Found out we are having another little girl, so have started buying a few bits. Trying to save as much as possible though as we intend to get the Bugaboo Donkey. The worry of being scammed and not having a warranty means I want to buy it new. I do think I will get a lot of use out of it though as I will have 3 under 3 and a half so want something I love to use. We got an Oyster Max last time and I hated it so was a waste of money.

Put in my holiday requests today. I intend to leave on 6th October, take 3 weeks holiday and then start maternity leave. It means I will finish work at 30 weeks (in 9 weeks time!) but I think I will really need that time off work as I will have 2 toddlers and SPD is already flaring up. Work weren't impressed though! I also will be having a planned section and due to previous issues I am not sure how early this may be, I imagine only a week early but won't know until I see the consultant in a few weeks. It will be strange knowing our baby's birthday in advance though!

    Hope everyone else is ok.
