I have no sign of a bump at all, I have a bit of a jelly belly from ds so im sure I wont be showing for a while yet! Fab bargain rambo! We will be reusing our quinny buzz, I love it although it is on the bulky side. I have horrendous skin atm and I have no idea how to help it as im sure its hormonal! Ive been drinking loads of water but it still looks terrible. Also having headaches on and off.Mum of 2 :j0

I also have terrible skin! Spots on my face and chest and skin feeling oilier. I have switched to a different moisturiser to see if that helps, but I think it is just the hormones, as I suppose that is why teenage skin is all spotty!
I also have a Quinny Buzz. Loved it so much from when DS was born that we kept it. Shame it is now no use for twins, so will have to sell it! We had the carrycot, and could take it straight off the pram onto a rocking base when we got in.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Pah defo no glowing here, spots at top of my arms, shoulders, its awful. My forehead is so greasy! Im trying to cleanse, tone moisture but its a losing battle. Awh shame about the quinny, pinkshoes. Do you know what twin pram you will be getting? Yes we have carrycot too, I used to put ds in it alot during the day as we kept moses basket upstairs.Mum of 2 :j0

All you ladies who have bad skin - not to gloat/boast, but my mum was just saying to me today how lovely my skin is, and when I looked really closely she was right!
I wonder - do any of you ladies know what you are having? I keep googling things like 'good skin pregnancy boy or girl' 'no leg hair pregnancy boy or girl' :rotfl::rotfl: I'm turning into a psycho!
Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.0 -
No idea what we are having, and wont be finding out till the birth.
No bump here either, just feel fat and have gone up a size in trousers, but not quite ready for maternity clothes just yet.
Picked up my bounty pack on Saturday and started to have a look through the catalogues at prams and things. It is so overwhelming. Where do you start?!? I think the only thing we have decided is that we will go with a travel system that will hopefully get us up to age 3 ish. I think we will start in earnest once we get through the 20 week scan in about 5 weeks.
Our priority at the moment is clearing the spare room ready for baby things. At the moment it is a total mess and we can barely shut the door (DVD's, board games, boxes of arty crafty things, crap people give us). Our loft is useless as it is so shallow we cant actually get in it, so we can only have arms reach space around the opening for stuff, and we have no garage or shed or cupboards so space is really tight. A massive ruthless declutter is in order me thinks.
Oh, and I dont have lots of spots, but my skin is super dry at the moment. Covering myself in oil after showers and have started on the bio-oil already. especially around the nips!0 -
And, so relieved for you rambosmum. Did they not even think that you would be worried beforehand!!!!
I am consultant led too, but haven't heard anything yet.0 -
Lol hi everyone I google anything and everything, with ds my mum kept telling me he was a girl cos I had a neat bump and I thought she was right...until birth when he popped out! We didnt find out with him but will this time.Mum of 2 :j0

Sorry - feel like I've been all 'me me me' recently, but haven't been able to have a proper read through on my phone!
Pink shoes - quinny buzz was on our shortlist but having spent the weekend with friends the bugaboo seemed so easy, and we got to test it out in real life rather than a shop floor, which ultimately made out mind up. I know they do a double buggy - the donkey I think it's called, it's a side by side, which personally I prefer to the 'double decker' type ones but I know they can be cumbersome.
We went to a country fair at the weekend and saw a couple with a Phil and Teds double buggy, but it took me a while to realise that's what it was as the second child was in a sort of basket at the back, didn't look like it was designed to carry a child, I thought it was terrible design.
Hieveryone- At least one of us on here is glowing then! did your googling reveal anything? Having said my face was like a chip fryer yesterday today I woke up with achy dry face and needed to slather moisturiser on it! Still with the spots though. We won't be finding out but it'll be fun to guess, I reckon a boy.
Devil dolly - I've been slathering on the bio oil too, recently though OH has taken to doing it, though he concentrates much more on my top half!
As for choosing a pram we had a short list based on things we would be doing with baby that wasn't just a stroll in the park, e.g. we go rock climbing so wanted something that wasn't super-doper off road but that would deal with a few grassy paths etc and then had a look at them in shops, but unfortunately you don't get a good feel of how they'd be in real life scenarios, the shop floor being all smooth and all! So when given the chance to try one out in real life, and liking it we chose that.
I've also been told off friends that the icandy range are great, but the seat is small so for kiddie son the bigger end of the scale they don't last much past 12 months- and the kids these parents had I wouldn't describe as large!
Most branded prams now sell adapters so you can fix the car seat to them - the maxi-cosi pebble and cabrio fix ones are the most common that they seem to work for, though there are others from what I've read. We haven't bought a car seat yet, hoping to get a grandparent to chip in as the ones that fit with the travel system are pretty pricy, and it's certainly not something we would get second hand.
Minimuffin - when's your next scan so you can find out? OH is determined we won't find out, but I'm so impatient I'm starting to want to know!
As for me- we picked up the pram last night, it is in fantastic condition and it looks like we've saved over £600 because of all the accessories we've got with it. Just need to buy the car seat adapters for it and shoulder pads for the pushchair straps. OH has also agreed that if I sell the blue fabric set it came with I can buy a new one, but I'll wait and see what flavour we get first!0 -
Woah, that was a longer post than I anticipated!0
