Hi everyone,
Welcome to those who have just joined us
Great news Rambosmum, but rubbish they couldn't just tell you that over the phone instead of leaving you to worry!
I had my 20wk scan on Wed and all looks fine thankfully. Also it looks like it's a girl! So we are very happy
Hope everyone is well"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Does anyone have experience of this... I am 17+3 and the last few days I have had a strange sensation when sitting down.
I can feel what I think is my uterus above my pelvic bone (it is very hard and round), and when I sit down it feels like there is a 'pressure' there. Almost like I am really constipated (sorry, TMI!!).
It's not particularly painful, but can be quite uncomfortable.
Anyone else have this and what to do to ease?
Thanks

I've got that, hi everyone. It's really odd, think it's just the growing bump- I can't sit as close to my desk as I did either or bend at the waist as much!0

As for consultant led care I wasn't expecting it and I think they're seriously over reacting but I'm not bothered, baby will come out however he wants and I'm not getting fussed about what type of birth I want, I'll get what I need at the time and as long as me and bubba are safe that's what matters to me!0

Is this what they refer to as 'fanny daggers'???? i remember my friend telling me about this a while ago, but never experienced it myself!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

:rotfl::rotfl: It's not as low down as that Pinkshoes! :rotfl: But I have also heard it referred to as 'lightening crotch' - not looking forward to that!!:eek:

I have that feeling too hieveryone, think it's just the big water balloon you are carrying!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

My bump is starting to look bigger! When i go back to school in September I am going to be HUGE at this rate!
I am tall and quiet skinny, so the bump is obvious, and cannot be blamed on excessive amounts of chocolate and pizza over the holidays.
Everything feels like it is getting squished, especially my bladder. I am so pleased we bought a house with an ensuite bathroom! As fate would have it, we also bought a 4 bed house, as there were no bigger 3 bed ones coming onto the market! Now we just need a car big enough for 3 kids and two dogs!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')

People are starting to guess I'm pregnant from my rounded belly.
We've spent the weekend at friends down south. They have a one year old so we've been playing with their pram- a bugaboo chameleon, it's great but new they're £850! So we've just bought one off eBay with all the accessories for £161! After a quick wash I'm sure it'll be great. Looks in great condition. Wasn't going to buy anything this early but it was such a steal.0
