Just a tip regarding bras, although some of you seem to definitely have changed cup, I found bra extenders have let me wear my existing bras for much longer when it was back size which was shifting as bump moved higher. It also redistributes the way they fit, so what gave me 4 boob syndrome on my usual back size actually looked fine once the back was extended.

You can buy them for a couple of quid from ebay :) e.g. here.

I've got miles of space left on the backs for these- that's changed a cm at most (and these are mat bras with extra fasteners anyway)

I wasn't particularly booby before and as OH says, i always said I wanted some more. ENOUGH NOW PLEASE (although he likes them, a lot!)

Another one impatient here too. We are going to order the cotbed on Friday after the scan.
We aren't going to find out, we are a team yellow until baby arrives :)

Booby over here, I brought a 2pack in the sale around 8/9weeks which was a back and cup size up. I'm now ready for another cup size up but since it's got no underwire it's not an urgency as they are still quite comfy, just a bit of extra cleavage.

Booby over here too, but after buying new bras at 10 weeks I've been OK since- just moved along the back. Am hoping I'll make it to near the end now with these.

Feeling better today thanks- was nauseous again this morning but not sick and I found that it cleared after I had some grapes at 11am. Just had chicken nachos from subway- exactly what my pregnancy body wanted!

I think I'm the furthest along and the least impatient! But maybe also the least ready... We will make progress with decorating this weekend!
  • cats2012, I wish it was my back size!! I could live with that! I've gone from a 30E to a 30G... Which reminds me I really need to get a new sports bra too as I'm getting seriously squished at the moment when I go to the gym!! Major armpit spillage. Almost as good a look as 4-boob.

How much weight has everyone else put on? Feel like I've been really behind the curve on this one but hoping it's due to healthy habits and not actually damaging to the baby. I initially went down 4lb with morning sickness and then back up to my starting weight at 12 weeks and have put on 6lb since. Most online calculators seem to suggest it should be 8-12lb by this stage. If I count from my lowest weight (which whilst it felt low to me wasn't unhealthy) then I guess I fit into the statistics but otherwise I'm behind. Probably not worth spending emotional effort worrying about?

i don't dare weigh myself, i will have stress about the number as i am heavier than i have ever been-I'd not been as slim as I'd have liked when we went on hol and I came back with a stowaway
  • Yes I seem to have lucked out (assuming I am now gaining healthily) as I fell pregnant on honeymoon - having been on the "wedding nerves" diet for the past 3 months and consequently down to my ideal weight at the wedding / start of the pregnancy. It probably would have been a totally different story had I fallen pregnant a few months down the line after Xmas indulgence etc! Also took me weeks to get back to eating what was normal for me to maintain weight after a dramatic loss of appetite during morning sickness. Would say I am currently eating 200ish calories more than I normally would to maintain weight so hoping that's about right. Definitely enjoying the pregnancy excuse for extra snacks!

Another one here who feels they are constantly buying new bras or sports bras.

I've gone up a clothes size, I was on a cut prior to pregnancy and my pt is quite happy with my weight gain, as she puts it im in the normal bracket range but everyone is different she says. Still managing the gym and weights so quite happy how it's going. Although this morning I had a massive melt down as none of my leggings were dry (out of 4 pairs they were all in the wash) and none of my size 10s fit or are even comfortable. Spent the next hour crying whilst the husband sat there trying his best to console me. Ita a crappy time of year with it being my brothers anniversary tomorrow so I'd like to think it was more to do with that then my actual trousers not being dry. Managed to take the day off as a holiday as I'm already off tomorrow. Grateful that my boss is quite relaxed about taking last minute holidays.

Bit of an overshare there, just kind of spilled out. Hope everyone is doing ok :)
  • Oh no, sorry you're feeling rubbish april87. If it makes you feel any better you are doing way better than me at the gym. My usual was 1 x pilates, 1 x swimming and 1 x cardio/weights per week and I have only managed to keep up the pilates weekly with a very occasional swim (no energy during morning sickness and been rubbish at getting back into the groove since) so I'm massively impressed you've managed to keep up your routine.

I'm wondering what to do about leggings as the bump grows, although my usual pair for pilates seem to be fine for now, just not coming up as far and sticking out more! So hoping I won't need to splash out on maternity leggings as I've had to with jeans.

April/Snow mine lasted quite a while but once you have a proper bump you may well find they just don't stay up or sit right. I bought one "blow out" pair from fittamamma.co.uk which are AMAZING, then another pair from Mothercare which are great for pilates/yoga and were only around £15 I think.

It's more likely to be the tops you struggle with - the baggiest stuff I own doesn't go over bump now!! So needed maternity ones there, again Mothercare are good.
