Congrats on the scan Skint! So exciting!

khal - I found the MAM Anti-colic to be great, my friend used them as well and loved them but be warned there are quite a few bits to put together when you sterilise. They are handy though as you can sterilise an individual bottle which is handy in many situations.
Hey guys, sorry didn't get chance to reply to my question to what bottles to buy. Thanks for all your replies. I have opted for the mam anti colic bottles and hope for the best. The starter set is £15.00 at tesco at the moment. I understand these bottles can be sterilized in the microwave but just wondering if i still need a sterilizer for breast pump and any other things.
A family member has just had her baby 1 month premature. Im starting to panic now as i don't feel i have half of the things. Got so much to do. Starting to stress me out now. Anybody got a list of what to buy for maternity bag. Havent even started on this yet. Think it should be my priority really.0 -

Excited for you euro, keep us updated!!!
It's strange but since the scan the baby has been moving non stop (to the point where he wakes me up) wonder if the scan just made it all the more real so I am more aware of his movements now. Has anybody else found this?Married 1st October 2015:heartpuls

I picked up a steriliser bucket and used milton tablets for my breast pump bits, the solution is good for 24 hours after you make it up, so you can put bits in and out of it as you need them. We had a really small microwave though, and couldn't fit any sterilisers in it, and as we mostly BF with occasional bottles it didn't seem worth getting an electric one.Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -

Good luck Euronorris, let us know how you get on!!
Right, im going to do a TMI alert now!! ***TMI siren*** for the past few days I've noticed an increase in what I think and hope is just discharge (is there a more disgusting word in the english language!?), when I get out of bed on a morning there is a little..dribble..and if I've been sitting at work for a couple of hours the same happens again when I stand up. I went to the GP yesterday who said it is probably urine, but it honestly doesn't feel like it is, more like "further back." It seems to be very clear, like water. I told her I was worried it was amniotic fluid and she said it doesn't sound as though it is. But im still worried, I know an increase in d*scharge (can't type it twice!) is normal sometimes, but has anyone else experienced it? It's never been literal water before, ever in my life!
Sorry for the ramble and the general grossness of this post xxProud Mummy to Ruby

We're back! I'm back in the office for all of an hour! lol
Scan was amazing, everything measuring spot on and no issues and it's a girl! Hahaha, I should've known! If I was convinced it was a boy, it was bound to be a girl! lol
Proper little wriggler and mover. I had to get up and go to the toilet at one point, and do a little jig to try and get her to move position (which she did) so they could do the last of their measurements.
Super excited! Now I want to go and buy all of the things!!!
Dinky, sorry to hear about that. Afraid I can't help as I haven't experienced it myself. But, if it helps, I can be TMI too - woke up with puffy nipples this morning! That was weird! lol

Dinky yes I've been like that with a couple of mine.. panty liners are the thing! It could also be you have a bit of an infection, you don't need other symptoms! Nothing came of it and it did not stop until I was uninhabited.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Ahhhh congrats euro, such good news!! I had to lie on my side at one point in the scan because he was waving his arms about so much she couldn't measure his heart beat, funny how they just like to do their own thing.
Dinky I has something similar about 4 weeks ago and it only lasted a few days it was like a watery discharge. I'm the same with that word it is horrendous!Married 1st October 2015:heartpuls
