Handily for me, my scan date is also my sister's birthday. So, I'll still remember the date years later! lol
Hope everyone is doing well today.
Our new mattress is amazing! I'd gotten so used to the other one I hadn't realised how bad it was! Best night's sleep I've had in months!!February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Ladies, my mum just got me some maternity joggy bottoms from Lidl, might be of interest to some of you.
Perfect for me for yoga and slobbing about the house in. Can't wait to get them now when she sends them on.094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

I definitely wouldn't actually have a scan every day!! I just meant it would be nice to see the baby everyday, that's all. Which it would, right? I do remember reading that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes bought an ultrasound machine when she was pregnant. But that doesn't surprise me.
Im 17+4 today, I keep feeling flutters but genuinely I don't know if they're baby or wind...haha! That'll be a nice story for him when hes olderProud Mummy to Ruby

Tom Cruise is a total loon though haha.
The movements do feel very much like wind...LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Yeah, I really wasn't sure at first either and kept wondering if they were wind, but they got stronger and more frequent each week. And now, if I press down on that area when they kicking, I can feel them from the outside too!
I tried to get DH to have a feel, but every time I put his hand there, baby stops kicking! hahaFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Congratulations boatgirl!First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140

Mines a lazy thing.. it has a couple of wiggles in an evening but other than that just chills in there.. I am very thankful for my Doppler! .. just to check it is still ticking every week or so. I think I have an anterior placenta again because I feel swooshing movements but very few kicks.. but that just makes things more risky.. placenta accreta is a greater risk over section scars.. that would induce further consultant hysteria.. good job I'm not a stresshead!
I've really hurt my left knee and hip today.. my 2 year old tried flinging herself down the stairs and I grabbed her superquick but ended up on one knee at the top of the stairs in order to do so.. not recommended!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Please excuse my moan, but I am soooo bored in work!
. I've been moved on h&s grounds from my normal job of teaching in a prison, to doing admin. I am in an office by myself most of the week and all I do is data entry. It's making me feel very isolated and down. I see my old colleagues at lunch but I'm missing the daily contact and whirlwind from my students. Every day was different and kept you on your toes, and now every day is the same boring jobs. I'm only 14 weeks (been here 4 weeks) so have ages to go yet. Contemplating going on sick...
