Flutterby, I ended up begging for gastrol resistant asprin when they made me take it last time because I just couldn't keep it down any other way, but I've never been able to take aspirin even as a child

Glad the scan went well toots and baby was behaving. I think I've started to believe that this one is going to be as awkward on Monday as it was two weeks ago
  • Congrats Toots that's brilliant news!!!!

Can't wait for our scan next Tuesday, we are hoping to find out the gender as well...fingers crossed Baby behaves :)

These movements I'm feeling are so reassuring, cute and strange at the same time.

  • Congrats Toots! And a little girl, how amazing.

As its my first, I'd be happy either way but I'd love a little girl as I have a niece already and she's amazing!

Mum just let me know I can have my nieces Moses basket instead of buying one to use for a few weeks and she's got some of her white vests and other gender neutral stuff she's gonna start keeping aside for me.

Thanks everyone! It is our first and we are both over the moon. DH cried when we were told it was a girl.

Our pram came arrived yesterday, we did order it in "sand" but it has come in black. Not fussed either way and can't be bothered returning it.

I'd forgotten the times that baby gets itself into a really uncomfortable position and just stays there! It hurts quite a bit so I'm considering some frozen peas to try and move it. Three hours of being uncomfortable is enough

Pregnancy induced crazy dreams.. Marvellous!! I did not miss those!!

Fed my neuroses last night.. Dreaming I had a baby with Downs.. No reason to think that I will given the hospital never rang with the results this week.. I'm just unwell so a bit of a mess .. Plans for the week.. Feeling sorry for myself!

ooh and my results letter turned up.. 1 : 880 ... that is enough to concern me but not at a level to require further testing... I wonder if I can request the NIPT test here... job for Monday

  • 14 weeks today! Feeling a bit more like a mum to be as my Tum has decided to stick out and stay out...

Met one or two other mums this morning - one is due at end of May so was lovely to talk to someone else who is pregnant. Also found out that one of my close friends at home is having a baby, a week and half before me so that's lovely!

Been doing some stroller research for when baby comes along. Me and OH are liking the look of the M&P Armidello flip I think it is? Hubby wants to get a carrier as well as he's interested in sharing the baby wearing, love that he's so involved..

Just bought girlfriends guide to pregnancy in a charity shop, 50c well spent I think! It's a fab wee book and definitely makes me feel a little bit more confident about things.
