victory, did you ask the GP for something to help you sleep?0

Can your son and his dad touch fingertips, victory. That may be enough of a compromise at the moment.
Love to all of you.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

No, I didn't no, I sleep practically awake if you see what I mean just incase, would not want something incase I did not hear him, he has a bell, youngest bought it as a gift, silly but useful.0 -

Hi victory, you and your family are very much in my thoughts, as they have been every day. I too was very shocked at the condition he was allowed home in - but left the excellent ongoing advice to those with more experience. Sounds like help from GP services will be on it's way soon, once xmas is passed.
Keep going one day at a time, one hour at a time when that is all that is possible. You are doing brilliantly.
BbxI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

Thank you, he's asleep now, yes once Xmas is out of the way, the help will be easier to get, it's really all unknown territory for me, I very rarely have ever been to a hospital to visit, other than the usual births let alone been in CCU etc0 -
Your doing amazing it might not feel like it at the mo when but you both look back ur realise that.
We've just raised a glass to friends, family (with some exceptions) absent friends and family and virtual friends. We didn't think that we would ever have a normal Xmas but we managed it, ups, downs and me stressing over a bottle of wine, thou to be honest it was the stress from organising everything hits in the daftest of times xxxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Just wanted to send my best wishes to you all Victory. I have thought about you over the course of the day but this is the first time I have had chance to post.
Sounds like things are still up and down and I bet you feel like you don't know whether you are coming or going. I don't have anything useful to offer but I really hope things settle into some kind of routine soon for you.
Once again, love to you all.xxx0 -

Thank you, I think I am tricking myself the days/weeks away, I see the slightest tiniest improvement, like he will move his fingers without yelping in pain and I am off, yep this is the start, yep this is going in the right direction and then the next day he will get up, white as a sheet, unable to move, having had less than an hour sleep all night, with me up and down watching him and trying to settle him and feel oh here goes we are going backwards, today he is not so good he looks and feels awful, one of his friends came round yesterday and took a step back when he saw him, he quickly recovered and chatted away but that is how people react.
Back and forwards, back and forwards:)0 -
