Great to hear your positive news :T
Now go to bed and sleep, stop chatting to us.0 -
Brilliant news that they're starting to mention moving him closer to home. Focus on that. Still a while to go but it'll make the world of difference. A drive that long is tiring enough under normal circumstances.
When he's angry, not himself etc just remember that he's still on lots of strong drugs. It's not him at all.0 -
Hugs Victory - I have been lurking not posting as I haven't had anything helpful to say. You & your family have been in my thoughts every day & I'm so relieved to hear things seem to be improving slowly.& as for some happy ending I'd rather stay single & thin

Fantastic news, small steps conqour big mountains. I hope he's able to move soon. Its a fine line between pain relief and not doping them up so until he's fully conscious it's up and down. Positive news though. Now is the time to get some mental and physical rest as your adrenaline will crash each stage of good news0

Thats good news if they can move DH to the local hospital, have you checked as to what would be needed in terms of care and support at the local hospital.

Hi
Great to hear that OHs condition sounds to be improving.
Can you take a day off visiting etc ? I know you will feel that you need to be there every day but you've a long road ahead of you and you need to conserve some strength for that.

Wonderful news, brilliant! But small steps... small but good ones. xx
Much heartened to hear that Mr. Victory himself suggested easing off the Morphine - shows good judgment to me. I have twice been extremely unwell and under Morphine in an ICU myself. It gave massive relief but played havoc with my ability to go to the loo "properly".
Lovely to hear a snippet about your sons too, Victory - hope they're ok.
And you. I hope you are ok (as far as you can be in this mad chaos). Lots of hugs and every good wish. I think you're amazing - even though you might not believe that yourself. xx0 -
It's just as well that you don't have more visitors this weekend. Sounds like you really need all your energy just to scrape through each day.
I hope you are managing to sleep a bit better and eat something.
Some positive news coming from the hospital, so that must lift your spirit a bit - :A
Still sending healing to you all.Mortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j0 -
Just hang on in there, Victory - your OH is making progress, albeit slowly, and you all are doing brilliantly. You are holding it all together even if you feel that you are crumbling apart. Try and take some time for yourself. xxxxx0
