lovely news on the rebates and other extras you've had this month.

You may still exceed the amount you made in 2013 as December is not over yet!!!

In case you don't check into your diary before Christmas have a lovely time with the family :xmastree:

    Achievements this week:
    • I went to work in the office five days in a row. It was quite hard at times and I mostly didn't want to do it but I pushed on and I am proud of myself for doing so.
    • I kept on top of all of the finances. And in spite of VodaFones !!!! up, I have been managing budgets so well that the extra money we have made in December was available to be put towards mortgage overpayments.
    • I overcame my *doubts* / *insecurities* about pursuing a new opportunity and I completed all parts of the application on time.
    • I have been prioritising making time to reflect on the past year and to work on my goals for the coming year.
    • I recognised my physical and emotional limitations this week and I accepted them and didn't push myself beyond them.

Ive been doing something similar over the last couple of weeks, although my outcomes have been less positive! Think I've been too ambitious in my own debt repayment plans. Congratulations on your progress sounds like you're doing well!:T

DH has popped out to do the final shop before Christmas and he'll be getting the last few Christmas presents too. We did most of the Christmas shopping yesterday. I used 3 different vouchers saving a total of £44.08 (one of them was the one from Disney that I didn't want in the first place.) Annoyingly one £10 voucher had expired  and I couldn't find another £10 voucher that is here somewhere :mad:

We had 6 ebay items end yesterday, so it was very nice to listen to the ebay app kerchings as we were walking around. 2 people haven't paid yet so I can't work out the net profit. So far though we cleared £19 profit and I paid this onto the mortgage immediately.

I did the house insurance through TCB, so £158 spent there, but *should* be getting £30 cashback IF it track (which it hasn't yet)

Been having a bit of of a bleurgh day generally. Both kids have caught nits  either on the last day of school or over the weekend from a neighbour's child. It's the first time they've had them. We had some stuff in the house which I used on them on Sunday and yesterday but it didn't really do anything so DH got some different stuff today and it feels like we have spent about 4 hours just blitzing their hair. DH also did me for good measure, although there was no evidence of the little blighters - thank goodness.
