    Hi everyone

So sorry I haven't posted. I didn't mean to make anyone worry.

Took a bit of sorting out to get my new car (was stressing me out big time). My eye took a bit of time to get better too, which meant I tried to stay away from the laptop as much as I could. Also had my sister staying here for a few nights because everyone in her house had a stomach bug.

Anyway, must get back to posting again. Need to start earning/saving money.

I've made some payments off debts. My water bill arrears have been cleared and I paid off £100 from one lot of council tax arrears and £200 off the other. Means they now stand at £900 and £595.39.

Working for the next 4 days, but after this weekend, I've got 3 weekends off in a row. Not much in the way of overtime around at the moment (haven't done any this week).

    Emz xx
  • Glad you're ok and great news about the water bill.

    Thanks INOD and Lou :)

4 hours this evening at work and then I've got tomorrow off. 3 hours on Thursday and then I've got 3 days off. I'm also only in 2 days next week (6 hours Monday and 3 hours Thursday) as I'm off to Wimbledon on the Wednesday and then I've got the weekend off as leave too.

Speaking of tennis, I was very relieved to finish work on Sunday and see that Murray won Queens. I obviously didn't get to watch it, but have just downloaded it from iPlayer and am watching it now. At least I'll be off for [STRIKE]if[/STRIKE] when he gets to the Wimbledon final ;).

I had a nice surprise in the post on Saturday - a £250 cheque from Motability. I didn't think I was going to get it this time round as someone went into my car a couple of years ago and the insurance company never got it sorted, and someone also keyed it quite badly.

  • All seems to be going well for you now, Emz. I couldn't be happier for you after the few miserable weeks you've had to endure.

Andy played really well in the final. I didn't see it live myself either, just caught up with it. Looks really sharp and fit, I think the addition of Bjorkman to his team is really paying dividends:T.

What a relief it must have been to receive the Motability cheque, especially as you weren't expecting it. More debt-busting with it or are you going to allow yourself a well-deserved treat ?

    Take care
    xx

    Thanks CBC :)

The cheque will help to see us through to payday, as we had to pay some money for the advanced payment of the new car, so it was going to be a tight couple of weeks.
