Forget about likes and dislikes. They are of no consequence....

"Forget about likes and dislikes. They are of no consequence. Just do what must be done. This may not be happiness, but it is greatness." George Bernard Shaw.
That has to be my favourite quote. I know what must be done, but I haven't been doing it. I feel like I've been drifting for a bit. I need direction, I need some motivation and I need a goal. I need to start clearing these pesky, annoying debts. I need a fresh start and a new sense of purpose - hence the new diary.
My old diary is here, but don't worry, I haven't given up on my bucket list. I'll put it on the second post of this diary and will keep you all updated as and when I get to cross things off it. Although, I hope this new diary will see me one day crossing off number 11.
So, this is what must be done:
- I must start earning some extra cash
- I must target one debt at a time until it has been cleared (whilst making token payments to the other to keep the creditors at bay)
- I must start making a payment a day so that it's constantly going down
- I must make sure that my health doesn't suffer as a result of this

Starting as I mean to go on, I've just made a payment of £2 to the council tax arrears. It brings it down to a nice round number. Hoping to be able to make some bigger payments soon.

Happy New Diary:beer:
Lovely to see a new sense of purpose to end the year. Love the quote, by the way, very inspiring:T
Is this the same bucket list or have you tweaked the original a little? Looks longer somehow and I haven't had time to revisit the previous one to check:o.

Another £5 paid off the council tax arrears today. Trying to get some work in the pipeline so the money starts rolling in over the next few weeks.
Doing the school runs today and I'm at work this evening, so busy busy busy.

Loving the new diary Emzilla, and the quote, which seems even more apt given how much people take the importance of likes on FB nowadays.0
